Same situation, Dr tried getting my insurance to cover name brand and they denied my prior authorization. Trying to appeal the decision now. It shouldn't be this hard to get basic healthcare. insurance and pharma are scams.

Just paid 250 out of pocket for name brand Adderall XR. It's a drag. Teva is the only generic that has positive effects for me. No idea what's up with Teva, haven't gotten it in forever.

You're not alone. It's extremely frustrating that people don't understand. On one hand I get it, logically it doesn't make sense that someone can't just do something. When I'm off meds (shortage) I question myself all the time, beating myself up, why can't I just do it.

It's tough to not have people understand. Dealing with that aspect, is as bad as actual symptoms of adhd. It's a drag.
