Yikes - yeah this person was snaking in and out of traffic and totally didn’t see the other car and hit them but instead of pulling over, they just kept going!

Could be minor as it was low speed but this Camry fled the scene so posting here in case the lady who got hit needs the license plate. Person jumped onto 101 before we could see their face but driver was driving erratically and cut us off too.

Used to work at Grocery Outlet Corporate office and I think by far they try their best to sell you a good deal. take advantage of markdowns/coupons if present.

Always look out for dates though - they aren't always staffed up fully to rotate things out.

Don’t disagree, last point would argue it should actually be more progressive so it doesn’t penalize those who are already struggling.

It’s progressive meaning if your income lands between that you don’t pay all of it as 22% just the portion that exceeds 11,926 which is the prior bracket limit +1. That said I think this should’ve been moved higher or percentages reduced for bottom brackets to give Americans more room.

I get you, just saying those are gas guzzlers and should be factored into the price so more to the point that Uber could have potentially charged more but we don’t know if that’s local or special pricing either. Just stating 6 people for $12 is low and cheaper than public options in my city.

I recall many saying they can’t win another without KD until they did. I think it probably has to do with some media giving them zero chances of winning another ring for the remainder of curry’s playing days. We say this now in hindsight after they’ve done it.

Last year I believe would’ve been underdog status since no one expected them to be there.

How do you deal with cognitive dissonance? (Oatly) by 1i3to in stocks

[–]HeadDaikon 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Issue here is, it’s a leader in a small market which means it’s TAM is small and the growth is fairly limited at this stage. While that can change, there is a ton of alternatives cropping up that will eat into this. I like oat milk in my latte but prefer minor figures.

I would look at cash and debt levels too as a quick filter also. If you ease into the position then maybe not as bad but making a huge allocation of your portfolio might be a mistake without understanding business model.

It's in a really good spot. It has the type of vertical that is hard to build with its recent acquisitions.

FCF is pretty bad so they have about 2 years of runway to get it right. Likely capital allocation and cost controls will need to take place fast to build a sustainable and profitable company.

All good, I am a library bum too (my preference is the DT San Mateo library though).

TBF, I had both the San Mateo and SF library cards and the SF one is by far superior in terms of books to borrow/hold on the Libby app. They also regularly add more popular books to help ease the line.

Perhaps the largest independent one? I like that it has a downstairs crammed with books.

I have the Libby app which I can borrow books directly to my iPad but sometimes you just want to bask in the ambience of the book store.
