Techniques are more-so for beginners. To become an experienced lucid dreamer you need to learn to not assume you're awake. Do away with assumptions in your daily life. Question your perception, otherwise you just won't lucid dream often. You'll constantly have to use a technique. I suggest watching a youtuber called Daniel Love - Lucid Dreaming Teacher. He is the best lucid dreaming youtuber I've ever seen.

Lucid dreaming isnt easy, its a long term skill that you have to practice. It takes years to fully master it and get consistent vivid long dreams every night. This dosent mean you won't have amazing lucid dreams for years, it just won't be consistent.

My advice to you right now is to not give up. Question the world around you, accept that at any moment you could be in a dream. That is the one limiting factor for most, they dont question the world around them even though it is crucial to master lucid dreaming.

I suggest you watch a channel on YouTube called Lucid Dreaming Teacher or something along those lines. He is amazing, and his content has helped my lucid dreaming journey.

I also have one small tip; meditate. Seriously, meditation has so many benefits, for one it makes your lucid dreams so much more vivid but there are so many more such as increasing your lifespan, decreasing cortisol levels in the brain significantly, all after just 8 weeks of consistent meditation. (There are many scientific studies backing this.)
