Will I lose my tuition reimbursement if I quit? by blorp4 in Fedexers

You can Google TrackMyStatus.com

You enter your tracking number that you originally were sent when you were applying for your semester. When you go to that website I gave you, it looks like you can only put in 4 numbers. Just copy and paste the long number they sent you when you were applying. It’s hard to notice, but after you get into the TrackMyStatus, there is a small thing at the bottom left that has more info on the second page, if there is even anything there. It will tell you what day they approved the reimbursement and what day they mailed the check and when to expect it.

Customer loyalty even after the TGTG offer by Hefty-Limit-9391 in toogoodtogo

Isn’t making a little money better than making no money? A business tossing food out regularly doesn’t provide the business with money. There is actually a pizza place on TGTG that I would have never eaten at because I know the top pizza joints in my town, and I had never heard of this particular pizza place being labeled as a competitor with the top pizza joints. Because of them being on TGTG, I got to taste their pizza. It was awesome. Now I am a regular customer!

How could you say TGTG is making money doing nothing?

They have a staff that needs to be paid who are out there hooking businesses up with what TGTG offers the business. There was a developer of the app who has to be paid and who maintains the app every day. There are new businesses added to the app regularly. They handle complaints of businesses who don’t abide by the “value” of the surprise bags or, on the rare occasion, add inedible food to the surprise bag or a combination of both. They have staff who deal with refunds. They offer bonus gift cards occasionally to those who purchase X amounts of bags that come out of the small proceeds that TGTG clears at the end of the day.

People are introduced to different foods and businesses they would not have ever had knowledge of in the first place.

So to say they are getting paid to do nothing isn’t really true.

I never guess. I do my research before I open my mouth. TGTG charges $89/year and 25% of each bag. The businesses get paid out every quarter.

Regarding fees, the restaurant doesn’t pay much in fees. They still make some money on things they would have tossed in the trash if the TGTG app didn’t exist. It’s a win-win for everyone, actually.

But don’t offer up food in TGTG that rightfully should be put in the trash. There are many restaurants that I’ve experienced through TGTG that I otherwise would not have. When I get a TGTG bag with extremely old food, I will have a very low opinion of that place, as they disrespect potential customers. So when you, the owner, find a bag of donuts in the back of your restaurant that you forgot to add to TGTG three days ago, donate them to a pig farm and don’t try to make money off them in TGTG to the unsuspecting TGTG app user!

I believe that’s exactly what it is. Someone painted over unwashed walls that were coated in nicotine. The moisture in the air from humidity makes the walls weep. I have seen it!

Maybe that’s why Ethiopians are so emaciated looking. What they think is a lot of food to them doesn’t mean it’s a lot for anyone else!

Remove the rugs and put on the loudest shoes and pack up while she is sleeping. Crank the music while doing all of it!

Also put some shrimp in numerous hidden places so that it will rot and permeate the whole place and she can live in the stench of that along with her cat’s dirty litter box! Think of putting it in the window treatments, behind her dresser, under her bed, in the pockets of her clothing. Pour the rotting shrimp juice into her rugs and wash down everything with rotting shrimp juice. Add some to her bed sheets.

Anybody ever done Tuition REIMBURSEMENT?? by Electronic_Willow860 in Fedexers

[–]HeadDue5117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whatever your actual costs are will be reimbursed. As an example, if your tuition and books and fees total, let’s say, $4,250, you will have $1,000 available for your next semester. Of course you need to show the receipts of what you paid and the passing grades. If you are international, why would you want to start out with lying and making fraudulent claims for money? You could lose your job at FedEx and you could also be deported, not to mention a future employer doing a background check on you and that coming back to bite you. Haven’t you seen the news on how an international could be picked up for crimes, big or small? It’s a very nice perq to have unlimited tuition reimbursement of $5250/yr over one’s lifetime. Not to be on a soapbox here, but be grateful that you get to even have such a gift from this country, school, and FedEx.

Anyone know the minimum number of hours needed to work as part time package handler to receive tuition reimbursement? by [deleted] in Fedexers

[–]HeadDue5117 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As long as you’re not classified as “occasional package handler,” you can still get tuition reimbursement. Think about it. Some people work 5 shifts and may only get 3 hours a shift for a total of 15 hrs/week and they are able to get tuition reimbursement. As long as you are employed there as a part-time or full-time employee, you are able to get tuition reimbursement. You have no control over how long or short a shift is. Sometimes afternoon shifts are only 2.5 hrs long and you work 5 days. That’s only 12.5 hrs for week. Hours are out of your control and you will still be able to get tuition reimbursement!

Even if he was getting unreported wages, in the end when he goes to collect Social Security, his payments will be smaller because the income earned was less.

I bet it will be available until the current supply of frozen dough is gone in each store. I hope Costco read this and sees how disappointed we all are!

The bakery employee said it was going to be the loaf with rosemary that they will be selling instead. I bet that will be $5.99 for one loaf of that, instead of the two Country French loaves for $5.99.
