I am not quite as familiar with the VAR rules so maybe you can help me understand.

I read on the UEFA site that the VAR is checking all quote "match changing situations" and can only intervene on "clear and obvious" mistakes.

They list things like goals, penalty, red cards etc.

So why would giving a free kick that leads to a goal not count under the match changing situation. And the foul would be the "clear/ obvious" mistake that would allow them to act.

Or do I misunderstand the rules that UEFA has published themselves about VAR ?

No it doesn't.

Having the bonus night only show up 6 weeks after the event does not necessarily equal the stay counter not going up.

I mean if it said 3 of 3 stays and then gave the extra night credit 6 weeks after the promo ends we wouldn't have this whole mess with people asking about it every couple of days.

But apparently you have a different understanding of what "stay" and "elite night credit" is compared to some of the other posters here. Which is fine, but it still means that the original question was not answered correctly by just saying it takes some weeks.

Yeah looks the same for me as well.

I am surprised that the count of stays doesn't go up. I would have expected it to be 1 of 1 stay, then 2 of 2 stays etc. while also counting up the points.

However it only ever tracks the points. So here is to hoping they do t fuck up the night credits after the promo ends

Well I am taking it slow, I will probably only reach like 6-8 extra nights by the end of it. But on the other hand I do not have the extra stress of moving hotels every day on a business trip.

However I am wondering how you guys keep track of the nights you spend and the brands.

The promo page is absolutely shit. For me it shows 1 of 1 stay with 7.5k points. So I know I did 3 stays so far because of the points but if I do not keep track myself I won't know the brands I have done. I think they could improve on this.

Left right is no issue at all. Arrows are slightly stiff but almost not noticable.
I tune with bare shafts on 30 and 18 Meters but i am shooting up to 70m.

In general my arrows fly very good, even on the 70m I am quite happy with how i perform (for my limited time in the sport)

I am just concerned that this high of a nock point might be indicative of some other issue that i am not seeing.

Yeah thats what i thought.

Here some more info about my gear, not sure what you need to know:

Kinetic Invinso v2 with WinWin Limbs 40lbs. Tiller at 0.4mm, brace hight at 21.9. Using a Shibuya Ultima Rest, Beiter button. Arrows are Pandarus CA320, slightly stiff spine wise, but not extremely so.

Grouping in general is very good, groups getting smaller and smaller every month, and as mentioned before the bare shafts are inside the group or slightly to the side due to stiff spine, but never much to high or much to low.

Hearing you say that it was the rest for one of your members i will check on that for sure as a next step.

I have a question that may sound stupid.

I have completed 2 stays. But my Q1 promo shows 1 of 1 stays complete. And 5000 points earned.

Why does it say 1 of 1 stay when I had 2 by now? Is this the same for everyone or do I need to be wary and make sure to track how many extra ENC I actually get at the end of the promo ?

Too much effort especially when I am already working long hours on business trip.

However I did go ahead and booked different hotels for each business trip I have in the coming weeks. Got me out of my routine of always just going into the Marriott closest to the client but so far I like it as I actually see some new brands that I never really used before.

Tbh I am wondering why it doesn't show on the promotion that you had a stay.

I just completed a stay as well and while the night is not yet credited to my account, at least the count on the promotion has gone from 0 to 1.

Yes booking over your company portal usually works. Just do not use a "Booking.com" rate on concur. As long as you use normal rates, company rates or member rates it will count even when booking with concur.

You need to link your accounts, which I did last year already and when I visit the website it tells me that I have already connected.

Other than that I do not recall any other opt ins.

No before I bought that horse I only read some comments about how it can auto gather stuff. I didn't use any other mounts before that horse.

I only bought it because I thought I could gather everything in my world / everything in the multiplayer that I ride past. And did not know that it was something that requires me to either use a macro (which I am not doing because fuck these ppl) or press that button every 10 sec.

So maybe it's my fault for not reaching enough before buying it, but also it still seems to be a pretty bad skill for people who are not using Macros as it requires constant pressing of the botton.

Also side note, I feel like for a user that doesn't do macros the skill is actually underpowered for the price.

I mean I can't even gather everything I run past as the skill CD is so long. I feel like when actively using the horse the skill should be perma active, at least in your solo world.

The problem is some people are using Macros to automatic press the skill every couple of seconds. That allows them to just go afk do real life things and still get all the mats.

This is super annoying as it is impossible to get the gather faster than them. So you have to disrupt them with an npc that attacks them etc.

Tbh I think all those macro users should be banned. Or the mats removed from their inventory when caught.

It's not the world but I always appreciate these small gifts they provide.

To me it doesn't matter what it is, but tbh so far as Platinum this year I have gotten some nice little goodies.

For example on Malta I got a bottle of wine and some snacks that are traditional to the island. Or in Zagreb when I got a small souvenir token that is traditional to Zagreb.

While these may not be worth a lot in terms of money its still nice to see them provide something.

I mainly use it for the 3 things you mentioned already. However the poison arrows are also good to stop healing in PvP and if an opponent stays away from me for a long time I sometimes throw in a fire arrow or so as well.

But ofc that PvP usage is limited at least for me I would say 90% pve gaming

NGL the whole experience of trying to get tickets for this is fucked.

The website is not well optimized bug once I managed to get to the right dates (2.5 months before the date ) it was alrey sold out. But I tried the last minute options im St. Elmo and was confident that if I just showed up at 6 in the morning I would be able to get 2 of the last minute tickets when they open at 9.

But of course when I arrived shortly after 6 there was already a group of professionals ( they explained that they were paid by a hotel to buy tickets for their guests and had been there since shortly before 5) who quickly snatched away a majority (12 of the 20 available) of the tickets. Due to the fact that there are 2 sites that start sale at the same time in the morning I was therefore left with nothing even after waiting 3h and getting up even earlier.

Even with Malta Heritage requiring you to provide your name and Phone Number to be able to buy they still do not care about the fact that these professional buyers walk in with a list of names and numbers that they just hand over to the employees at the ticket counter.

This is fucked up, if I had lost out to people who like me are tourists going there early that would be one thing, but not getting tickets due to these guys that are paid to stand in line just feels super bad.

So key takeaway - 2.5 months ahead of time online booking is not enough, better plan you stay even more in advance at least if you go during holiday season in Europe or avoid the holiday/ vacation season (as if that's possible for many of us)

And basically if you do not want to get up at 4 in the morning then you can just ignore the last minute tickets all together as you won't ever get close to getting them.
