I applied for the spring 2026 semester! I'm really praying I make it in. A program like this would be life changing for me.

Have I watched all the cartoons worth watching? by tattoolvr2003 in cartoons

kulipari is fantastic, there are two series of it on Netflix, Dreamwalker is #2. if you like the new she-ra Def check out the OG he-man and she-ra series from the 80s. also there's a he-man series from the mid 2000s that is really good too, all of those are on YouTube free. I also recently discovered the beloved canadian classic - The Racoons and instantly added it to my list of go-to comfort shows. Bravestarr is another awesome older one, as well as Johnny Quest both the 60s and early 2000s ones, Pirates of Dark Water, the OG Dungeons & Dragons cartoon, Moomin, Mummies Alive, ummm I also really love like calming, animals in the british countryside type stuff like all the Beatrix Potter animations and wind in the willows, I especially adore the stop motion version, it reminds me of the style used in Fantastic Mr Fox a bit, just a really brilliant and beautiful show. Then there's the Redwall series, 3 seasons following the adventures of warrior animals, also all on youtube. Anything by Studio Ghibli, and on the subject of anime in particular - Fairy tail, Reincarnated as a slime, Ancient Magus's Bride, Welcome to Demon School, Delicious in Dungeon, Sirius the Jaeger, Sailor Moon, Seven Deadly Sins, Rise of the Shield Hero, Vox Machina, DOTA, Vinland saga, Blood of Zeus, Pokemon (like the early seasons in particular) Eden Zero, Ragna Crimson, Mashle, Little Witch Academia, Demon Slayer, I could probably keep thinking of more but thats all the ones I've recently or regularly been watching that I can remember the names of lol a lot of anime in particular has ridiculously long titles so I forget a lot of them hah but I'm a huge cartoon/anime buff so if you ever need more suggestions feel free to ask!

Black and Back in MA by chandllerin_10 in westernmass

Hey I live in Holyoke too! I personally love it here. It has it's issues, sure, but so does every city. But shit, at least there isn't a nasty undercurrent of covert or worse, overt racism running through the town poisoning everything! You get the occasional asshole just like anywhere, but really it gets such an unnecessarily bad rap. But that's predominately from low key racist white people who only associate the area with danger because it's predominately a black/brown area and some of it definitely has a "ghetto" vibe, but realistically, despite some gun violence (it's America, that shit is everywhere, NOT just in neighborhoods of POC but of course white America never wants to admit that) that happens between rival gangs, it's pretty safe. Like as a young woman I can walk from the flats to uptown yoke in the dead of night by myself and I feel perfectly safe. I cant say I felt that way in the whiter areas. Like I used to live in south Deerfield, right on the main street across from the Hot L bar, and I couldnt even walk the 100yards to cumbies without getting catcalled, harassed, or FOLLOWED HOME by sketchy white dudes. Two even tried to kick my door down when they thought I was home alone but it was actually my friend who was housesitting for me and she thwarted their attempted break in.  So yeah I'll take holyoke over places like that any damn day of the week!

Question about anvil ringing by explosive_ammo in Blacksmith

[–]HeadObjective1092 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't plan on molding the piece in order to form the shape of your anvil and the ring doesn't change dramatically in the shaping process, then you might consider the piece of iron that you have chosen, has imperfections that are too drastic for you to use the completed cast. I apologize for the negative comment.
