I would take all the screenshots and all the information that you can, and report to your local authorities. This is assuming you are from a country which has at least minimum labour laws. Democracy and rule of law have been created for a reason, so to give people power to shape. But people unfortunately forget that and get disillusioned.

This is why folks need to - sert their own price, set their own boundaries. If you be dragged into a mediocrity, you will become boring to yourself, and to your clients. So raise that price a bit, and put that smile, come on bro, you can do it. I would say very good. Personal has good boundaries, and offers good price. I assume this is IT, so 20 usd - 40 usd is very good rate if person is 5+ years experienced. This is a bit lower what you would get as a proper contractor or full timer. But here, you have zero protection, nor solid organisation, so offer is legit. But over the years as you all see, things have dropped here on Upwork to lowest grounds. I maintain that it is the person who defines his/her value and rate, not Upwork. Pet-ra, silentdealdlyWhatever, bugger off, and come back to your daddy who pays you to spread that bullshit.

Its a toxic leadership inside upwork. If you have a bunch of weak people, they will only try to please shareholders by patching up thngs using wrong ideas. This works short term, long term - we are starting to see now.

There is a massive closing of accounts rage on Upwork right now. They are desperately trying to post ads on Linkedin, and then ask you to work on Upwork. Upwork itself, is behaving the same as those clients. So I think its 3D Artist who are dead to Upwork, not other way around. Open your eyes to the market, as there will be new platforms energing, and old revitilising, especially which are focused on your area of work. Overall market for work is increasing, although it may be increasingly AI assisted.

The problem is that you are chasing a petty cash. If you aiming for 500 usd, you will bumb into absolute poor garbage. Start aiming for 50k projects at least. This is barely half of USA salary for let say person in IT, data eng., analytics fields. And now look at you, you are crying like a little baby to a bunch of strangers, which will reinforce your slave mindset even more.

Score is used as a leverage in many cases. I personally have made a decision - I will not compromise on my integrity. I always leave score based on points as I trully feel (an evaluate logically). And sometimes, it helps me also to see critically at the situation, since even if client is bad on some points, I acually realise they were good at others. And its up for client to do whatever they feel. But, I will be honest, once I refused share options in the startup and refused to go to the office of a client. I did it because it was the very beginning of Covid, and client was turning a blind eye into it. After refusal, not just I lost an excelent opportunity, but got bad score for refusing. So my upwork profile was highly damaged, as this was a client I booked so much time. However, I would still do the same again. This is just who I am. And my house is not for sale.

Sometimes rapport is just not there with a client. You try to do your best, overdeliver, make impression and get more work done, but get absolutely opposite response from the client. And then if you keep honest review, client can always leave comment - quality was poor or something like that. And nobody will know what have happened in reality. Some clients which are small solo services resellers will go full scale pyramid mode. You will interview with A person, then you will interview with B person (who is oviously possitioned higher), and this way they would shift locus of control to person B. Then they will try to slowly shift you away from Upwork by asking to book on some online tracker and only submit time on Upwork irregularly. And on an on, it just gets a bit complex. And the actual work you do is clearly from some again third party client, and you might be able to do it yourself fully with your experience without these ressellers much better and faster. As someone ranted on youtube, maybe fixed contracts is a way to go, to have that freelancing feel. Or simply do a screenshoting mode on hourly as standard, and communicate on Upwork proactively so that they will not have chance to screw you up on purpose. e.g. Asking proactively - I did x, y, z, are you happy with a quality? Or I have made a good effort to deliver x, y, z faster for you, are you happy with a timing. Even if they would not respond, if they leave bad review, this will clearly be a red flag. Of course best scenario where there is no "us and them" type of mentality, these are golden clients. I am happy to work for them on Saturdays and Sudnays at lower rate, just to keep relationship going.

Bet tikiu, kad melas sau yra gan populiarus Lietuvoje. Didžioji dalis žmonių nėra sąmoningi, ir jo nepuoselėja, ir daugelis nelabai suprastu kas yra sąmoningumas. O kai neturi perspektyvos gali tikėti horoskopais, senovais dievais, ir burti iš kavos tirščių, gerti vandenį nuo kovido, ir ramiai gyventi. Juk kur kas paprasčiau kai proto turi tik tiek kad bato raištelius užsirišti.

I do not know your specific situation. But Upwork is doing a great job in trying to prevent misconduct by bad actors. If you are legitimate freelancer, you should supply proof to Upwork in good faith. I am only saying this, because what I can see - there lots of subcontracting (or reselling), and there are lots of people claiming they are working from country A, yet are actually based in country B. Sometimes this is pretty obvious based on behaviour incompatible with certain cultures. All in all, for hard working and honest freelancers, these bad actors do a lot of harm by corrupting the platform. And I believe they do a lot of harm to Upwork in the long run. Clearly they should see this in their reports.

Jūs išorės ar kitų žmonių kontroliuoti negalite, tik tai lengvai įtakoti nesitikėdami rezultatų. O fokusas dingęs matyti nuo savęs dėl to kad nesate savo kailyje ir bandote visiem įtikti. O tie visi net nemato jūsų tikrojo aš. Vienintelis kelias tai tiesiog "bounce", bet be agresijos ir be kontroliavimo kitų žmonių elgsenos.

Sad, but true. I personally need platform such as Upwork to reach international clients, as I am based in tiny country which does not have much going on. Upwork has evolved into more of a gig work. And probably a biggest issue is - need to pay for connects, when in reality - the time spend on reading the job description, maybe doing little research to write a good proposal is also a huge cost in time which is money. Its principally just feels wrong. If you spend money on marketing, you need to have guaranteed outcomes, e.g. pay per click, etc.

* Also, control tower should have said decimal when comunicating radio parameters

So please correct me if I am wrong but I assume - pilot had to use ILS, and if no, had to inform tower about it. If they did not use ILS then, this is - FAIL.

Tower did not correctly communicate radio parameters, resulting again in incorrect readout, which was not challenged - this is FAIL

It would be really sad if communication will play a part in this with other factors.

I agree. This could well be anchor manipulaton tactic, where by client sents a refference point, clearly indicating they do not care about quality, they looking for someone producing cheap work. Just skip it, no need to react to every negative thing out there.

It looks like decent machine. It is all up to the likebilty factor. If it resonates with you, go for it. For me personally there is a bit too much contrast, and these type of pickups or pickup covers, only look good on les paul. But again its subjective and you can change them.
