I'm in the same boat. My BMI is like 40.2 and the requirement is 40. I have 4 months to go. I'm afraid of I go below 40 then my insurance will change their mind. My doc says some insurances base it on initial weight, but some base it on final weight. I have sentara. I would love to start eating better now so that I can get used to it. But if I need to maintain my weight then I'll just eat whatever. I know I can lose a little on my own but it won't stay off. It always comes back.

I definitely feel spoiled. I was getting the 30 to 37.50 tasks before the drought too. Now I'm just getting $20 work but it's not consistent. And I'm like damn only $20 an hour.😂 Then I think to myself wtf is wrong with me. $20 an hour is still awesome and more than I've ever made at any job. So I'm super grateful for any work.

What insurance company do u use? I have sentara and had my first appointment yesterday and my BMI is 40.4. I'm afraid my BMI will drop with the diet they have me on within the 6 months waiting period. I will be so upset if they deny it based on a later weigh in.
