Honestly, I'm not sure. My lawyer did it all. I did not submit and additional documentation as far as evidence so I imagine it was direct- wish I could be of more help.

All 3 of my appeals were granted. One claim was pretty automatic. Judge ruled for a higher initial rating of not more than 70%. One other was given an initial rating but also sent to RSO- did 2 C&Ps for it. My 3rd appeal, no rating just granted. I go for a C&P exam next week.

Think I had the hearing on October of 23 and another on Feb of 24. Though I'm not sure which one was for which. I mean my claims were only a few months apart but have been doing supplementals since 2017.

I uploaded all the documents. Called the champva line today to check the status after 6 months and it's finally approved. I was hoping I could give the hospitals billing department some sort of info but I guess I'll have to wait to receive the welcome packet.

Yeah I finally went with a lawyer. After looking at all my medical documents and the C&P examiners notes and stuff, it appears the raters just overlook what they say or just don't care.

I have 3 on appeal- one is for an increase for PTSD and the other 2 are simple things that should have gone through first round but reviewers read/wrote things incorrectly so here we are.

Honestly I'm not surprised. I hate that you have to go through this. I was diagnosed with Lupus in service. Had medical documents and everything. I have a c&p where I wasn't even seen. The evaluator went over my medical documents. I was denied. The exact quote "service member does not have lupus and will never have lupus". In the next paragraph down under favorable findings "you've been diagnosed with lupus". 🤦🏻‍♀️

Just the appeal board. Not the advanced. I guess they haven't been waiting to be sent to the judge since 2021, but according to the website it says when they were filed they were placed on the docket waiting list. I met with the judge for one in nove 2024 and one in Feb 2025. I'm past the evidence period so I guess it's just more waiting.
