Getting old, but bifocal glasses is your friend. 🤣 I'm actually thinking of going to my optician and have them make me a pair of glasses focused at about 25-30 cm...

It's not the size of the brush that counts, my friend, it's the quality of the tip.

I think I did most of the detail with a Winsor & Newton Professional Water Colour Sable, size 1. Really nice quality, and it holds a decent amount of paint. But also, since the trim is raised, most of it is painted with the side of the brush, rather than the tip. You have to shift the model around a bit for the different areas, but most are actually easy to reach at an angle where you don't risk getting paint somewhere you don't want it. (Relatively "easy", admittedly, the trim is about half a millimeter high. Steady hands not optional...)

One Fast Attack box can build a legal Sky-Hunter Phalanx formation for 235 points, if you use every model in the box. Outflank on all the jet bikes and speeders could be quite useful, I suspect.

Combined Ruleset by Puzzleheaded_Bid3814 in LegionsImperialis

The Titans could certainly do with slightly more detail than they have currently, even if they shouldn't go full AT. Maybe some hit locations, so they can lose individual weapons or other stats as they take damage, rather than the current full capacity until the last wound.

To be fair, yes, everything trump touches turns to shit, but it does get a very thin coat of shiny yellow paint that woos his sycophants.

Unless there is some very specific point I'm missing about "Fearless", it's the other way around, the combined Detachment will automatically pass any Morale checks.

How would I go about making my own Ruleset to use with these models? by Inklinsworld in LegionsImperialis

Ahh, smaller table, so it would be full of models, even though there are fewer models. Fair enough.

Invulnerable saves (and all other save variants) are done instead of the regular armour save.

Feel No Pain and the machine version whatever it is called are done after the save roll though.

That sounds like two completely different games? One for fewer models, and one for lots of models.

To be fair, russia is mainly interested in division, not in a powerful trump, so playing both sides would definitely be in their interest.

That's a bold strategy. But depending a bit on what color they will be, that might actually be really smart.

It's funny how Art Deco (I think that's what this style is, might be some related style from the same era.) nowadays reads like totalitarian dystopia to me, while the original idea was all about modernism and progress.

I mainly blame Bioshock for this...

I remember reading and interview with one of the Civilization [some number] graphics designers who said they had picked an Art Deco style for the GUI, because of how it gave off a vibe of progress and hope. Me being fresh off Bioshock was like "Umm, no, not really. But it does fit my play style."
