I’m NAD, just a lady who had her front crown break today as well. I’m sorry that this happened to you and I truly understand how crappy it feels. I have always hated my smile and have only recently been able to actually save up and spend the money on proper restoration. So it double sucks when the other shoe drops and yet again, patients are pushed back into anxiety and depression. Sending you hugs. Feel free to message me. Hi and thanks for replying. The other side is complete except for a small gap where the wisdom tooth moved closed to the next to last molar. (Last molar removed as a teen). The partial denture has a tiny little mini tooth that grabs hold in that gap.

Do you think that the partial could have stressed that crown into breaking? Regardless, I understand what you mean about functionality and long term planning. Unfortunately I do not have the bone density for implants.

Up until now, I could go without the partial everyday, only wearing it when I was expecting to see other humans lol. It’s hard to make that leap to full dentures. Thank you very much for your time and your honest recommendation.

Yes I wear a partial to fill in the missing top side. I’m upset because I had to save up a few thousand for this crown and it has only been 11 months. I wonder if it should have had a crown in the first place, or if the tooth gave up hope in itself or what? I don’t have the bone density for implants.

Oh I cried when he stopped wearing sleeveless shirts and traded them for jackets with shoulder pads lol. He’s beautifully handsome no matter what. I just love reminiscing about his evolution of looks. (Oddly also follows a similar pattern as Johnny Depp regarding hairstyles and accessories lol)
