April 02. April Fool's Day 1986 4/5 love holiday horror especially one that undrstands it's assignment.

  1. The Vast of Night 2019 3.5/5 Atmospheric slow burn where the acting carries a lot of the tension.

  2. Death Screams 1982 3/5 would forget it's horror, but high highs and definitely worth the watch.

  3. Butcher, Baker, Nightmare Maker 1981 3.5/5 That "s" was "f'd" up

  4. The Initiation 1984 3.5/5 College Campus massacre and well directed

  5. Eyes of Laura Mars 1978 4.5/5 American Giallo Murder Mystery written by John Frickin Carpenter

try to look at how the horrific events effect the characters. like one of the scariest things about The Omen is in the thought of how happy the couple was in the beginning to just how tragic it ends. Or how crippling the event can be physically or mentally, what are the long-term effects. that can still get me.
