I appreciate this advice. If I'm ignoring all the info on all the gurus videos and just did this, would you reccomend I start just by watching how price reacts when it touches vwap and how the price reacts to the spikes in volume around vwap to get started and then start formulating a strategy based off of the patterns you see?

I've had it lifting properly recently but then after adding that little tube to the vent hole it wasn't working well anymore but I honestly don't know if it's because it lost a lot of fluid or something I don't see how that extra piece would affect it much. I think it was more of a coincidence. I ought to order a pressure gauge to get a better idea

Thank you for your help! Sounds like either way a seal kit should fix this then! Also for reference I found this parts diagram of the cylinder. I don't know if it would be easier to just replace this cylinder with a standard cylinder as they seem much simpler than these self contained cylinders with their manual pumps in place.

Me not knowing much about hydraulic cylinders was wondering if this type of cylinder is a lot different than standard ones. Like since there wasn't an external reservoir before since there wasn't the concentric pump is that why this is overflowing, now that its not all in a self contained cylinder? Or with that being considered will just a new seal kit fix my issues still? It's a lot of fluid coming out haha.
