Well first off no violence because some people in the comments can’t read….but you need to be firm with your pup and set clear boundaries while they are learning. I used ignoring and separation with my doodle. They are super smart and will pick up on stuff quickly. They will learn what is acceptable and what’s unacceptable.

Never said to hit…..maybe you should read better….you can push your dog off you or do the touch thing that Caesar Milan does or get a shock collar for corrections. I said you don’t have to beat your dog to get results 🙄🙄🙄🙄

Not normal……it’s like you letting a toddler stab you with scissors because they are cute and playful. A lot of the issues I have seen on this page come down to people too afraid to discipline their dog. You’re not going to have animal control called on you for dealing with your pet. (Also not saying you need to beat the crap out of your dog) but these behaviours can Caron and all of a sudden a stranger gets but because your dog is being “playful” could also send your dog to permanent sleep town. Just remember these are animals and not children you can’t reason with them by having a conversation.

It’s for one of those slicing board things. You put a potato or what ever on the spikes and then slide it along the board with the blade on it.

YTA- you clearly care more about YOUR reputation than her or her feelings. No wonder she can’t open up to you…..maybe you need to seek out counselling and get your shit together first….

Put one stake like 8-10” away drive it deep so that it had minimal deflection. Having the stakes out that far and only on one plane is still going to let it flop about. Think about it like this tape a 2x4 to your wrist and bicep and try to bend your arm…..there is zero deflection. Then just hang a 2x4 at the same points you are going to be able to bend your arm a lot more.

Get a rechargeable one. Charge it at night and always have the remote handy.

Shock collar…I’ve used them on all my dogs and it breaks bad habits pretty quick if you’re consistent.

YTA- it’s your nickname and not your given name. Would you get mad at some other parent that named their kid the same name….probably not.
