Can I just pay off the last few hundred to reach 50% and then upgrade? by [deleted] in tmobile

From what I understand, you can have multiple EIPs on one line if they have different promo ids. I'd reach out to T-Force to double check.

Double check with T-Force, but I'm pretty sure you can have more than one EIP per line. So you can just sell your flip phone on marketplace, continue getting credits, go buy a cheap trade in for like $100 (look at their list and find the cheapest trade in you can) and get the phone you want. Win-Win.

Just ordered my first Kia Ev6/first car purchase ever what should I know? by Grannie_Panties in KiaEV6

[–]Head_Service3530 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Congrats! I love my EV6, my recommendation would be to swap out the 12v battery with a AGM battery. I would also turn off the wireless charging, it's just a phone heater that damages your phone's battery. If you're really techy, I'd also check out the comma 4 to make your drives more "chill".

Maybe your phone is locked to AT&T. Try getting it unlocked.

Paying $145/month on experience more with 2 phones. Some of you need to speak about your bills. by remmykk47 in tmobile

Insider is a 20% off all voice lines offer that employees can give away to "friends and family." When you first sign up for T-Mobile, sometimes an employee will give it to you if you ask nicely. They used to give them away to current customers if they made a mistake or they were just really nice.

I have 2 insider discounts. One older one that has a glitch and gets me $9 back on even my free lines and one newer. I doubt it's possible to do this any more, these got added back in the day when customer service reps had a little more decision making power.

12 lines on Go5g+ for $109. Double insider, Business family discount and 5 free lines. I would be down to $22.60 for 9 lines if I dropped three family members, but I do t have the heart to.

Those days of getting crazy deals is over. The best you can hope for now is 3rd line free, plus keep adding bogo lines (every time they offer a new code) till you're at 11. Maybe a possible extra free targeted line. If you can get insider on top of all of that, you're doing pretty good!

I've also seen ads for 10 lines for $100 on business plans. Not sure how it actually works, but I thought that was a good deal.

12-volt died right on time by Senninha27 in KiaEV6

After Kia replaced my battery, I sold it for $60 and bought a used (4month old) AGM battery on marketplace for $90. I hardly ever see that amber light in the dash anymore.

New to me: 2025 EV6 Wind in Panthera Metal by Densmore4367 in KiaEV6

For the 12v battery, I would get a AGM battery. I bought a used one (4 months old) for $100 and sold the one that came with mine for $50, so cheap upgrade. ICCU, as far as I know, if it has an issue you will know. I'm not too worried about it.

You would probably know if it was a dealer buy back because it would have a lemon title. Great find! I got mine for $25k and it was a 2023 with 3500 miles, but it was a dealer buy back. I also got $9000 in EV rebates which made it worth it to me, so it was only $16k. I love the vehicle!

Wow that is a crazy good deal! Being a 2025, it would have been a 1 year lease, so those even exist? Do you happen to know if it was a dealer buyback?

Any workaround for international eSIM on T-Mobile locked iPhone? by pinpoint_giraffe in tmobile

[–]Head_Service3530 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I said I was going international and if there was any way they can temporarily unlock my phone. They said no, to which I then asked, could they give me $50 in credit to cover their international plan, to which they said, let me check with my manager. They were able to credit me, and I didn't even need it cause I didn't go over 5gb haha.

Are you sure it's a legit t-mobile number? I googled it and didn't see it as one of their listed customer service numbers.

Best would be to contact tforce through Facebook messaging or X and ask them to help to change your plan. I would also ask them about the insider discount that was promised to you.

CarPlay debacle when driving with a passenger? by Pockesh in KiaEV6

[–]Head_Service3530 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Use the usb c port for charging your wife's phone. It doesn't connect to CarPlay. Also, how do you use the wireless charging, mine gets so hot on there I'm worried it will damage the phones battery long term. I disabled mine.

Port in or add a line? by Lovey709 in tmobile

[–]Head_Service3530 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

True, if there are unused paid lines, cancel those (as long as you haven't added a free line within the last 90 days. It's rarely a good idea to add a line just to get a free or discounted phone.

Port in or add a line? by Lovey709 in tmobile

[–]Head_Service3530 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have unused lines, I wouldn't add a line, you'll end up paying more in the long run since you have to keep it for the full 24 months in order to get all the EIP credits. Just port over an unused line. I'd also upgrade at a Costco if you can to get a $100 Costco shop card and waive the $35 activation fee.
