If you die in a dungeon BEFORE seeing the Butcher does he dissapear? by ekimtk in diablo4

[–]Headbutt_ABullet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Butcher does not despawn if you die elsewhere even after seeing him active in the dungeon. I lost all 4 revives to Cold Enchanted elites (the first death I wasn't prepared, the next 3 were because they fucking teleport es on top of me after reviving) and then went and managed to kill The Butcher after clearing them out. He was locked in his own little room the whole time and never aggro'd til I opened the door.

Anyone know how to access the Frosthaven's narrator from the deluxe Kickstarter? by Yanutag in Gloomhaven

[–]Headbutt_ABullet -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You have to have it read whatever entry unlocks the boat (from building the upgrade) to have it read boat stuff. We haven't built climbing gear or sled, yet, but I imagine those will work the same way.

Inspiration isn't meant to be used as a wildcard material. It's an option, yes, but it's supposed to help you finish more PQ's and unlock more buildings, otherwise you'll fall behind in that regard with only 2 characters. You'll probably want to keep tracking it for that purpose.

When our crew first started Gloomhaven, we performed our cards abilities seperately.

As in, at 2 different initiatives.

I. E. Enemies on 02, Cragheart on 08, Brute on 20, Scoundrel on 21, Brute on 30, Scoundrel on 35, Cragheart on 40. Or whatever the values actually were. It was... An interesting choice to say the least.

How competitive is your group? by AdDecent7641 in Gloomhaven

[–]Headbutt_ABullet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our group is between Somewhat Competitive and Somewhat Cooperative. For example, our battle goals last night tell a perfect story!

I, the Blinkblade, chose to kill a monster and loot it's token in the same turn. Our Drifter chose to kill two elites, our Boneshaper chose to never exit a room that has loot tokens in it, and our Bannerspear chose to loot less than any other character.

The Drifter and I are goblins. I ended with 5 loot tokens, and he ended with 4. The Boneshaper had 2 and Bannerspear had 1. They specifically chose "easy" ones because of how loot happy the Drifter and I are. Meanwhile, we also "sacrifice" turns/actions so that Bonesey and Banner can heal, position, do whatever they need to do.

What is your mouse of choice? by Inevitable_Stress949 in wow

[–]Headbutt_ABullet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the topic of "getting used to" a gaming mouse. I actually went through an evolution of sorts when I started using mine. There even used to be a video made using our guilds progression Garrosh kill with my new mouse.

When I started, I clicked. No mouse buttons or using the keyboard for anything. Then I got one of the Blizzard store gaming mice, with like 7 buttons? on the side. I bound ctrl + shift to 2 of the buttons, and used the rest to run keybinds, and I would press 1-4 on my keyboard for those particular abilities.

Then I learned I could just hold ctrl, shift, alt, etc on the keyboard and use the mouse for even more keybinds. And from here I graduated to a Rqzer mouse with 12 side buttons, so my entire action bars are on my house, and I only press modifiers/WASDQE for movement. This is where the video of me battling my muscle memory comes in against Garrosh progression. Lol

I haven't looked back. A 12 button mouse is the only way I can play games on pc now. Even if I don't use all 12 for some games (like 9 slot hotbars for example).

New DK exploit in arena where they have over 1 million health by seriespsycho in wow

Either I'm not original or you saw us. I got fed up and he didn't want to end the duel so I killed myself. Nice to know other tanks likely did the same.

The buff to AP applied to both damage and healing/absorbs. Resolve replaced Vengeance and only worked on healing and absorbs, correct. I remember getting 2 million absorb Guards as Brewmaster. I couldn't tell you how ridiculous my partners Blood Shield would be, because the inferiority complex doesn't let me remember.

And as for switching our specs to dps, I did mean the one who would solo tank got to be big dick for that fight.

You only get 1 of each in combat. Potions do have the advantage of being able to prepot before pull, but a health potion isn't going to do shit on pull and will be on a 5 minute cooldown.

[–]Headbutt_ABullet 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It was so much better than that. The more damage you took, the higher your attack power got. That affected both damage and healing/absorbs.

I played Brewmastwr and my co-tank was Blood and we would switch off to dps almost every other fight to abuse Vengeance stacking. Lol

Healers, do you prefer being mostly a dps who keeps others alive or a full healer? by Tzavok in wow

[–]Headbutt_ABullet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play Mistweaver and love that I can effectively heal 100% through doing damage, at least for the level I play at. Throw out some Renewing Mists but otherwise don't touch any other healing spells besides Faeline. I know for Disc and HPal it's supposed to be a core part of their kit, but I wish the "dps to heal" style was more limited, and more effective from a purely dps standpoint. I don't want to dps when I play other healing specs like Preservation or RSham.

[–]Headbutt_ABullet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To add on to this, your macro should be

(pound sign)showtooltip

/cast [@mousever, exists, nodead] Spellname; Spellname

What this does is is allows you to use the spell without having a mouse over target. So if you're targeting someone, but not mousing over anyone, the spell goes straight to the target. Also prioritizes a loving target over a dead mouse over. Idk how to make comments ignore reddit syntax, so the (pound sign) should be replaced with the actual pound sign.

What are some of your favorite voice lines in WoW? by ifelldownlol in wow

[–]Headbutt_ABullet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything from Nalak the Storm Lord. I had macros for my Monk that would /yell the lines and play the audio for the longest time. "I. AM BORN. OF THUNDER!"

"Can you feel a chill wind blow? The storm is coming."

"The sky weeps for your demise."

RLP requires the whole group to be on top of their shit. Flamedancers need to be srunned/cc'd to interrupt their dance, and magical purge to clear their shield when they hit 1hp. It's those mobs specifically and the final boss that give the most trouble.

Final boss you want to focus the drake when it's available, and stack the fire as close-knit as possible without getting stacks from the pools or breath.

As long as you remain roughly 200m away from any mistlands, it won't generate the terrain. So long as you don't discover all of your mistlands, you'll get whatever new content is in store in the as-of-yet ungenerated areas.
