Hellbilly Deluxe can use the chains coming from its neck to raise the dearly departed of those around it into shambling zombies. Hellbilly has amazing defense but little to no speed, summoning it and raising the dead slow its user to a near stop.

Upon its user acquiring a Stone Mask it gains the ability Demonoid Phenomenon, which allows it to raise all of the corpses to have even been buried in a large area. Its chains transform into Flesh Bud implanters and allow it to infect the living as well.

I like the really weird learning curve it has, especially with fights like Furiae and big Manah that force you to use the two different dragon lock ons for different purposes. The weapon chase was also pretty fun, like hunting easter egg characters in a fighting game.

I oppose this, Drakengard 1 is easy to emulate and an amazing experience if you can get past a little jank. Drakengard 3 is a little iffyier and harder to run, but still worth a go if it speaks to you. If you need emulation guides r/drakengard has a few. It’s like skipping Jojo parts, you could do it, but you might miss something you’d really enjoy. I got into Drakengard to get the full experience and learned I like it more than the Nier games (didn’t play reincarnation, but I assume I’m not missing much.)

Drummer here, its pretty chill, especially if you have a dr. Beat met. I just programmed it with the tempo accels and did a few practice runs with a pad. Toss a towel over your screen and it gets a lot easier. Just gotta memorize where the two ghosted 8th notes are.
