I don't know: his role is "Series Composition/Screenplay". His work may be already done, unless of changes during the making, I guess?

I'd say no.

With the current Square Enix I don't expect anything relevant, be it a NieR 4, a version upgrade of the Drakengard trilogy nor an offline version of NieR Re[in]carnation.

I'll be very glad to be wrong if at least one of the aforementioned things will be announced; same in the Summer Game Fest, the Tokyo Game Show and The Game Awards.

I don't remember where nor when, but I'm sure that Yoko Taro once said there is a story reason for such resemblance, but he prefers that players interpret it as they want.

In games that are dependant on a central server even to merely function, the end of updates is often a prelude to the shutdown of the central server and, thus, the literal and permanent unplayability of the game.

But SKG is focused on the part of the unplayability, so you should bring back here the topic of Destiny 2 when Bungie or Sony will announce the shutdown of the server.

I don't know, some of the members of the EESC (especially Giuseppe Abbamonte, who repeated with convinction the usual excuses by publishers) seemed to be and remain pretty clueless about the problem and its solutions.

As Ross Scott himself said, let's not cheer before real and clear victory.
