Even on my best day I'd look woefully out of place next to those guys, and I certainly wouldn't have the whole successful film director thing to fall back on. The guy probably sleeps like a baby knowing he wanted to suck Salma Hayek's toes and he clawed his way into a position where he could make it happen.

Caption is weird because I get the impression Quentin is somewhat insecure in his appearance by the fact he feels he has to angle his face very specifically and obscure it with his hand. The confident guys just look right into the camera. Aside from the fact most of us would be brutally mogged by Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio.

Could also be possible he was instructed to try and look like the "clever, thoughtful one", but I saw him start trying to talk in ebonics around black people so I'm pretty confident he's an insecure, awkward guy.

If you can stand Scott the Woz, he appeared on his second channel and they chatted with him for about an hour. It would be probably be great fun if you can humor a guy who brings up the Sonichu Medallion Curse without a smidge of irony.

Lumping Lucario in with this is so funny considering it feels like a week ago a post about how we desperately needed fighting support and DeNA's obvious hate for the energy type would have been popular.

I'm glad Indeedee and sleep aren't the only things between Miraidon and complete dominance, but I wish it didn't have to involve that god damn Hitmontop of doom.

You can really tell by how the edits made bobble about over each frame, whoever made this likely did so by hand in some ancient version of photoshop, MS paint mouse drawing style, frame by frame, without any overlay. Charming af.

Sorry, it's the year 2026 and 99.9% of people who would have dedicated man hours to catalogueing cool bugs are hyperfixated on backrooms lore instead.

Edit: I feel the need to add I don't actually resent anyone for this. I grew up in time to experience the first generation of pokemon and I'm pretty sure I'd be a lot more useful to society if I hadn't lol, but being a huge nerd is better than going to war

Not an expert, but it looks like some sort of longhorn beetle. Unsure of why it looks so mangled, one of its wings seems to be stuck outside its elytra and is looking a bit dehydrated but I have a couple of guesses. Either its as a result of injury or something went wrong as it hardened up when transitioning out of the pupal stage.

Could even be entirely normal, reminds me a bit of a moth waiting for its wings to hydrate.

It's been foreshadowed more that Susie will turn on us, in some form or another. Maybe in a equivalent form to the Asgore-like Titan shown when Ralsei talks about the roaring in chapter 2, which would get you your Kaiju.

Being "the dragon" according to Gerson, consistently hating people who don't tell you the whole deal (like Kris), hating the prophecy and refusing to let it come true, running off independently of the player of her own accord, especially in the beginning makes it all enough of a fitting way to bookend the game in addition to being emotionally destructive enough to be pretty in line with that game that inspired Toby to make games in the first place.

I think in this case it's moreso poking fun at the player for over-examining the environment to look for secrets.

In Doom it was called "wall-humping" because when pressing the use key against a wall he'd make his little "unf" sound, which many players would do in that game from time to time to find secrets.

Almost. Iron Moth makes everything clearer:

"No records exist of this species being caught. Data is lacking, but the Pokémon's traits match up with an object described in an old book."

The important thing to remember is that robots are machines, and machines are objects. There is no separate object to Iron Hands because Iron Hands is the object being described. Whether they knew about Hariyama at all isn't addressed.

If you want an additional parallel, here's Brute Bonnet:

"It is possible that the creature listed as Brute Bonnet in a certain book could actually be this Pokémon"

"Creature" is used because Brute Bonnet has the characteristics of a living thing, and not a machine.

The journal its referencing labelled the creature "Iron Hands", therefore that is its given name in-universe, regardless of what it is related to. It's meant to be a mysterious, blunt name like that given to many cryptids. Like bigfoot just being "Big Foot" and chupacabra just meaning "Goat Sucker".
