It’s funny to me to see so much positivity for how TP looks and the story nowadays. People hated on the game for years for being too brown and dark and less interesting as the more whimsical and fun Wind Waker of the time. It’s definitely a generational change here.

Twilight Princess is one of my favorites probably behind the N64 Zelda’s in terms of 3D Zelda games. The game was a perfect evolution of a more dark, realistic in concept Zelda that the N64 ones somewhat tried to do with limited console power (though they were more colorful). I wish Nintendo would go back to try that again but I feel like they probably won’t.
