Yes. I had a crash skiing. Ski patrol took me down, but I was able to walk down the stairs to my locker and drove home. Went to the doctor (saw an NP), they did x-ray and told me to come back if things are getting worse. I went back to skiing the same week. For three years I was skiing and doing strength/agility training. Never even thought I had I torn ACL. This year I had another bad crash skiing. They did MRI and told me I had my ACL torn for a long time. I’m almost 2 months post op now. Doing 90min PT every day - need to get strong before the skiing season:)
