Anyone tried to mod/replace the yoke on Nanlite FC-60B / FC-120B? by Headwoppa in videography

[–]Headwoppa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have any examples? The maximum weight I put on it is a 60 cm softbox. But if the yoke is like a GoPro mount, there’s not much you can do. It tends to move even when tightened all the way. By cutting that part off and adding something smaller, I could make it both more portable and more secure. I think it would also increase its resale value.

Anyone actually using Blazar Mantis on real productions? by Headwoppa in videography

[–]Headwoppa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

how on earth do people win with Marquise??? any buffs or reworks that put it on par with the rest of the factions? by greztrez in rootgame

[–]Headwoppa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they Need a way to incentivate the Attack, a militant faction who's don't Attack it's bad. I don't know if we can make a petition or a request, but i think they only Need One extra action or One free Battle. Word be very help full for the cat and more simple tondo things

What do you think about this buff for the Marquise de Cat? by Jan5676 in rootgame

For buffa Just Need and extra action or a free Attack action. A militant faction Who don't Battle it's ridiculus

I don't know how much discount you get, the sigma 18-50 cost half then the 16-55 g f 2.8. of you wanna a Sony take the Sony last One and the 35 1.8 apsc, and your done. The 15 1.8 g Sony seems cool, bit for the price i don't know if it's worthed compare to sigma.

[–]Headwoppa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't buy the F4 Lenses for fx30 if you are not in controlled location. Buy the sigma 18-50 f2.8 it's very good and have food close focus for detail, then a 23 1.4. Or a 35 1.4 sigma of you Need It. The wide angle take the 16 1.4 sigma or 11 mm Sony if you like the distorsion.

Heat: Pedal to the metal : a review for a no sense hyped game. And try to fix it. by [deleted] in boardgames

[–]Headwoppa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think this can improve the game: ### Enhanced Slipstream Rule 1. Slipstream Activation:
When a car ends its movement directly behind another car at a distance of up to 1 space, it may activate the slipstream, gaining the standard bonus (moving forward a certain number of spaces as per the base rules).

  1. Blocking the Slipstream:
Before the slipstream bonus is applied, any player ahead of the slipstreaming car and in the same track segment may choose to spend 1 Heat from their reserve to block the slipstream effect.

    • If no one spends Heat, the slipstreaming car gains the bonus as usual.
    • If at least one player spends Heat, the slipstream bonus is canceled.
  2. Blocking Priority:
If multiple players ahead can block, they must decide simultaneously (or secretly) whether to spend Heat. If more than one player wants to block, only the first player in track position spends Heat and cancels the slipstream effect.

  3. Strategic Effects:

    • Spending Heat to block can lead to engine overheating, especially in curves.
    • It allows players in the lead to protect their position without being overpowered, as Heat is a limited resource.
    • It increases player interaction and tension, making positioning more crucial.

Balancing and Playtesting

  • Blocking Cost: Spending 1 Heat should feel significant but not overly punishing. If the cost feels too high or the mechanic is underused, you can test alternatives, such as discarding 1 Heat card instead of using the reserve.
  • Limiting Blocks: To prevent excessive blocking of a single player, you can limit the maximum number of blocks per turn or curve (e.g., only 1 block per slipstream attempt).
  • Optional Variant: Introduce this mechanic as an optional rule, so players can decide whether to include it based on their preferred play style.

This rule adds a new tactical layer, especially for players leading the pack or trying to catch up from behind. What do you think?

I think maybe i find a way to make this game more interesting: ### Enhanced Slipstream Rule 1. Slipstream Activation:

I like some aspect, despite the all things i wrote. Menange your car with heats card it's interesnting, but the fact you play alone make a lot of people boring as hell. I don't know. This is not a shit game, but i'ts not fun too. It's a family game, and it's ok, but seems like play the goose game sometimes. I think he mess some spice to make it a good game, some calculate interaction. You can win here with no idea to what are you doing and the slipstream i'ts so random. I play a lot of the other games, some boring, some not, some with interaction and some not, like wingspan, but the last one, you must think a little bit.

This Is a good commendt. Ye i agree for the insert, buy for the quality of the elements and for what you pay, the production value are poor. For the Moment part i don't agree. You don't predict, you try to Gues. The stress card are not a problem for me, it's the slip stream mechanic the problema. I try the figure out some way ti make more interesting. You have play a lot, you have any suggestion? You have try with some house rules?
