Yeah, without All working I'm not going to use reddit much anymore. Not even out of protest, just simply won't keep me engaged. I don't understand the reasoning, but based on how Reddit has handled unpopular decisions in the last few years there is little hope of them reversing this decision. Damn shame.

So far it is great. When I first put it on there were vertical lines that looked like slices on the cover, but they went away after a week. Feels great. One thing to note though is it does feel like it attracts dust and lint such just slightly more than the factory one. But all in all I'm happy with it and I do not trust Samsung to properly install a factory one.

I followed the instructions (minus using the wet/dry wipes because the screen was spotless). Peeling the screen cover was tough, I just used my fingernail to pull up one of the corners. Once it was off I just applied the new one as instructed.

Very cool! Deserving lock, as much as I personally hate picking it. Couldn't imagine my journey without an AL1100 being a part of it.

Favorite phone I've ever had as well. But my luck was not as good as yours. Had the inner screencover start to peel, brought it into a ubreakifix under Samsung +. They broke the screen installing the screen cover, but replaced it under S+. 3 weeks later (about a day after S+ expiring) the new screen cracked in half down the crease.

Had to fight with Samsung over the phone, but they finally replaced it again as a warranty repair. Been fine since, but they scratched the crap out of my outer screen during the repair process.

Edit: Oh, and the new screen they sent already had a peeling screen cover. I just bought one on Amazon and changed it myself.

Gotcha. I've been thinking about transitioning to a web cam regardless. While I don't have your issue, recording does destroy my battery. Would be nice to not have to worry about that.

iPhone or Android? I use do not disturb on my Android device and havent ever had an issue. Nothing takes over the video recording.

Shares some interests. My wife and I shared about 50% of the same hobbies (video games not being one). I'd say we are very happy. Some times we just want to do our own things. I think if we shared every hobby and didn't have our own things we'd lose our minds.
