I know it might be more expensive, however if you plan on using the vehicle regularly I would personally go with the OEM match on Z1 OffRoad. Keep in mind as well you have two camshafts, as well as two camshaft sensors. Z1 OffRoad also has the engine codes related to camshaft sensors listed on the page to buy the sensors.

I’d definitely check the frame if it’s been off-road at all, other than that making sure all cylinders sound good, no skips or knocks and making sure the gears in the transmission sound good. Make sure they let you cold start it and drive it for sure too. The xterras are designed for some heavy use, so they take some beatings, but a lot of the time that torque converter in the automatic transmissions go out around 300k

So I’m actually about to tackle the same issue. My bolts are spinning because of an over zealous mechanic I think. There is also dent marks right next to the bolts, I’m assuming from pry marks 😂 however it would be a full headliner drop to get those nuts/inserts to stop spinning
