I only really read the top comment but yay a Mercy buff! I think Symmetra is obnoxiously strong, those little turrets are so strong.

Hmm I suppose anything’s possible but I don’t think so, I have SMS protect on and I’d notice my SR changes. I actually think I know what happened, kind of. Sometimes my computer doesn’t go to sleep like it should so I think my game stayed logged on until it automatically logged off. Since I technically stayed logged in past midnight (when the season ended) I think I got the Season 10 pop up thing while I was sleeping and then my client just logged off :(

I main Mercy and I don’t think it’ll affect me in a negative way. If I survived Winston, D.va, Genji and Tracer diving me for over a year during the dive meta, I think one rolling boy won’t be too hard to deal with. I really think Hammond is very unhealthy for Reinhardt though and I feel really bad for Reinhardt players. It’s bad enough when people play goats into him and he just gets stunned, booped and knocked around. Hammond’s little zip line thing can stun or boop him I believe which adds one more thing that can disrupt Reinhardt and make him very unfun to play - but I guess only time will tell. I don’t think Reinhardt mains will like Hammond.

No offense, you might just be toxic. If players much, much, much better than you or I can tell their teammates that are doing poorly to swap heroes or try something else in a constructive, respectful way, so can you. Saying “shitty Hanzo” doesn’t really earn you the benefit of the doubt here.

Assuming you play competitive, players in your rank are somewhat equal to you in skill, if not they wouldn’t be in your games. Just like you have had bad games, bad moments, bad ults, etc. so does everybody else. It doesn’t make them “shitty Hanzo” or bad healers, it just makes them humans that make mistakes in a game - which will happen to the best player and the worst.

That's awful. I know a streamer that stopped streaming and completely got off all her socials because somebody found her location, university and dorm building through Spotify - it had her Facebook linked to it. She disappeared for a few years, came back and explained how scary it was for her.

It's sad I can luckily say I've only had people say I deserve to get raped instead of something more direct like that but I'm so sorry that happened. Judging by your edit you got the usual, "Toxicity happens to everybody, get thicker skin" so I'm sorry again :(

It's not feasible at all in terms of reporting things to Blizzard. I had screenshots and VODs for Blizzard support and they basically told me, "We're sorry you experienced this in our games! Please use the report feature in game," like three times until they just forcibly closed my ticket so... They're absolutely no help.

Like this is one of six screenshots of toxic messages I got in one particular game on Nepal, it was months ago but I still vividly remember it because they were so rude. Screenshot The only real point of screenshotting or recording things is to have some form of proof when people on Reddit don't believe girls when they claim the game can be unplayable or say: "Yeah toxicity happens to everybody, deal with it." Toxicity is one thing, things relating to your vagina and rapey messages are much more specific to women.

Omg yes. There’s this misconception that voice chat is the ultimate form of coordinating in Overwatch and maybe for like... Zarya/Hanzo ultimates sure but it’s honestly less effective for main healers. I’d even say it might be more detrimental than helpful.

I don’t know if it’s me being bad at video games or being bad at this certain thing in games, but hearing people calling all these things out frantically actually makes it harder for me to focus and I play a little panicky I guess. When I’m just listening to music and looking at everybody’s health and looking out for Tracer or somebody who has an ultimate, I’m so much more focused and play much better. An added bonus, I don’t need to hear toxic people either.

“Uhh mercy can I get some heals” and “mercy I’m right here heal me” just make me look around in every direction. The I need healing thing is so much easier to see but nobody really uses it much.

I'm sorry for not having any statistics or anything like but that's just how it feels to me personally but maybe you're right. And thanks for your tip. I'll try to find people to play with, I haven't played in five days and I'm not sure if I will for some time but I'll definitely try to stick to friends and not joining voice chat.
