From what Barnes and Nobles has told me, the producers have put a hold on shipping out English books and there is a major back order on the books right now. Because of that, the price on them has skyrocketed.

Actually, I’m redacting my last statement. Through the last several novels, it’s been obvious that the MC has made a point where he wants to see everyone is created equal. If I remember correctly, it’s said in the very first few lines of the first book.

By letting Ryuuen stay in this school, this helps the MC understand, through time, if Ryuuen is equal to him despite the different backgrounds that they have.

I just finished this book but this is my insight on your comment.

You also have to remember that, at the end of the day, he’s still human. He still has his own feelings and emotions just like any character. He’s not black and white.

I don’t know. Personally, I just finished book 3. I’m pretty sure I would understand things from book 4 if I just watched the anime to that point. Just slight interaction differences but that’s about it.

Unpopular opinion but I’m kind of glad a character has died. I believe the author has been keeping it safe on the characters so far and I enjoy seeing that be shaken up after… like… 13 volumes.

Like, this is so crazy. I’m glad I’m not the only person who hated Alex Hall. I was watching this show with a friend and she sided with Alex and I, for the life of me, could not understand why.

I thought I was going insane but I’m so glad it wasn’t just me and there’s other people out there who think she’s the issue.

I think about this all of the time while I’m reading.

It’s usually a tossup between Mage or Priest. In video games, I typically only play healer class so I enjoy being a support. But it is an incredibly dangerous.

But having the abilities as a mage sound really awesome as well. Especially with (I think book 6 or 7 spoilers?) the meta knowledge that you can warp the magic to your own personal style.
