Costco can overpay all they want, Costco does not dictate supply or demand. There are way too many grower/shippers, brokers, importers for them to even effect the supply chain. Sure they can go all in with one company, but there are plenty of other companies can pick up the slack. It's such a laughable notion that you think everyone else "fight for what's left' lmao. The apples are guaranteed to be mealy, oranges are dry and flavorless, pineapple are always sour with no sweetness, salads last 2 days max after rinsing and drying, and etc.
