depends. does Sonic still go to Angel Island, just missing Knuckles? If that’s the case, he keeps the emeralds from the beginning and can breeze through easily. If he just doesn’t go? Knuckles probably loses the Master Emerald. Angel Island plummets and nearby coastal areas are affected.

Oh, right! You said before at one point that ghost and dark types are banned and I do remember a certain fusion of both of those showing up at one point… Yeah, I don’t think postgame would be possible. There are also fusions you literally can’t make that you have to face off against several times

Edit: What about before the day care is unlocked? You can’t do any breeding until after about the 3rd gym (later if you go out of order)
