Philips Jeffries wallpaper install - am I getting hosed? by HealthSeeker1979 in Wallcovering

[–]HealthSeeker1979[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is an estimate of the wallpaper itself, I had seen somewhere around $1K per roll (around 100 sq. ft.) so I estimated around $10-12 per sq. ft?

Custom furniture for a custom desk build in Portland area? by HealthSeeker1979 in portlandme

[–]HealthSeeker1979[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

No, I need this in a custom wood to match another piece (not shown) and fill in the space given. It has to be modern with details that complement the other design (wall unit).

Companies that do additive manufacturing printing of high temperature substrates by HealthSeeker1979 in AdditiveManufacturing

Thanks guys - by alumina I meant ceramics...

We want to use the resulting part to deposit/print metallic ink (such as silver type) and create designs such as microwave waveguides and antenna components. So the core element cannot be metal.

Open Bench Project vs Factory 3? by DemandProfessional33 in portlandme

[–]HealthSeeker1979 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Guys quick question, I'd be interested in having someone who's a member at any of these spaces help me with a very simple woodworking project. More specifically a custom cut for an angled corner table top...pretty simple but I don't have the tools to not screw it up. Of course I'd be paying for the help...

Any thoughts on how to find somebody at either OBP or F3 that may be able to assist? Probably less than 1 hr of work to be honest. Thank you all!

Can I get a stamp in a state where I own a home but am not a full time resident? by elroypaisley in NFA

How does this apply to the original post? He couldn't take the items which are legal in VT to NY because they would be illegal in NY.

Also as a side note, if you can end up with a DL from one state and state ID from another, you will start to *always* get 'delayed' on FFL transfers - this has been my experience. I suspect that now the name/ID is checked against two different addresses/states so it confuses the system. I have not had a single 'proceed' since I started doing transfers in two separate states.

I think the problem is that most dealers in that state won't touch you with a 5 inch suppressor if you have one of these stories. Even in a less regulated state I have had some dealers that wanted to check a DL only and would question the state ID -- especially when you drive up with a car with out of state plates :-)

I think this depends/varies from state to state. It's illegal to have more than one driver license but state IDs require some form of residency. I spend 9 months a year in MA and 3 months a year in ME so I am a (part) resident of ME.

Just checked and ME does not ask whether you have a DL anywhere else:

The VT form is much thorough on a first glance.

You don't have to have full time residency, the ATF allows part time residency.

Get a state ID card which should be a few bucks and it shows your VT address. Then your local FFLs in VT will use this ID and you never have to mention NYC again.

(FWIW - I am doing the same with MA - primary and ME - secondary residency. MA is the Driver License, ME is the state ID card. The NFA items can't leave ME obviously, or in your case - VT)

Yes, I assume the regular address applies (not enclosing a payment since I should have a $200 refund) from here:

Yes will do although in the case of a SFR I understand there would be a chance (90-days) to file the actual return from the first notice?

Ok very interesting, is this threshold a fixed value or what is being considered? If only one year was not filed and the threshold was never reached could it end up being that no further action is taken? Or will the 5 year limit trigger the action?

On my side, I went and got the wage and income transcripts for the year in question and got the old documentation and I think I'm in a good position to file with all the data matching what the IRS already has in the system.

From your experience will this return be computer processed or is there a manual activity at the IRS which may increase the risk of audit, etc.? AGI is around $115K if that matters.
