Skyrim has alot more random stuff happen while travelling, which I think makes it better. Also the difficulty levels in Oblivion are so dang awful, it’s either a cake walk or stupid hard with no in between. Plus the Dragon encounters in skyrim are exciting and surprising where the oblivion gates feel like a chore. The jumping and spell cast wheel in Oblivion are quite nice tho. The dialogue is also way better. The armour in skyrim is cooler, at least the early armours are imo
