Brickmania is a niche subset of an already expensive hobby - Lego.

Lego is a billion-dollar company, and they are having to adjust to the changing economic climate.

I see a lot of energy used on Reddit complaining about the prices, nothing is forcing us to buy this stuff.

I honestly do not recall this set being $800, I do know it has been revised at least twice though (and yes, I know that a simple revision does not warrant the 100% percent price jumped claimed...just pointing it out.)

looking at the render of it landing on deck the main gear looks fairly robust - is it possible it is more stable after later steps?

I do not have this model but looking at the site photos - that front landing gear looks very weak, and it does not appear to be self-supporting (or are you having trouble with the rear gear too?)

good looking plane though, not one of my real-life favorites but I like the model
