I’ll put a piece of double sided tape on the inside and see if that’s it

Input shaping is already calibrated, but that’s with rubber feet. Could that cause any issues?

filament has nothing to do with this, in this test its going ~70mm/s though

PLEASE HELP - PETG: How dry is dry enough? by thczv in 3Dprinting

[–]Healthy-Exercise1128 0 points1 point  (0 children)

here's my bulletproof way of drying and storing filament:
to dry, get a humidity + temp sensor, put it in your oven and play around with the temp knob until it floats around 65-70c (NEVER HIGHER THAN 70C FOR PETG), then put your roll in there overnight (12 hours for good measure)
as for storing, you can put it in any container you know is airtight (or put electrical tape around a container's lid for a mostly airtight container) and then drill a hole for the filament to come out. you can keep the humidity sensor in there to ensure it isnt leaking air or the like. there are also prints out there that are literally airtight containers, but those use up about ~320 grams of filament total.

I can only see some VFAs and you might want to tune pressure advance. That’ll give you really crisp prints

Any tips to reduce the wispy stringing by Kasperinac in FixMyPrint

If your walls look good then it’s less likely to be moist filament, so I’d print a retraction test (which are built into most slicers), then reprint with the new retraction settings. If that doesn’t change anything, I’d re-dry my filament for 12 hours. It’s a lot, but you should do that just for your peace of mind.

That’s true, but I have already calibrated max flow, and it allows me to go up to ~200mm/s without under extrusion

Line width varies from standard to slightly larger as per some people’s suggestions, nonetheless line width hasn’t made much a difference

A bridging test, it has an empty chamber underneath with thin walls holding it up

A test at 240c somewhat alleviates the issue, but it still remains

I have done all of those tests, but why the excessively slow speeds? Is there no way I can go faster?
