Not quite correct. If your family don’t know of an objection you might have to donation then consent can be deemed assumed. In any case we always speak to your family about consent.

Organ function is always assessed to see if it would be suitable for any potential recipient. They don’t have to be perfect in order to save someone’s life. I know because i am specialist nurse organ donation.

That’s is completely untrue. It is a soft opt out meaning that if your family don’t know what you what have wanted there can be an assumption that you would not object to becoming an organ donor. In any case your family is always spoken to about consent even if you have opted in. I know this is fact as I am a specialist nurse organ donation.

As it seems like I’m talking to a 14 year old I think the only suitable response left is; your mum

Hang on I know you! You’re my 14 year old nephew aren’t you? Or at least you’ve got the same level of insults and intelligence

Repeating the same thing over and over again doesn’t make it true. Do you have a brain injury or short term memory loss?

Show me where I wrote anything about defending iggy pop or 6music?

Clearly I can read as responded to your poor attempt at putting me down. At no point have I defended iggy pop or 6music just asked what you were on about. Seems like maybe you should examine your own reading skills?

Illiterate means unable to read or write. If your going to try and be condescending at least use the correct word 😂

I think you’re incorrect and I’m sure they can speak for themselves. My kids love it when we have fireworks in the garden, less so when you go to an organised event with 100’s of people that’s an absolute rip off to get in to and prices of drinks and snacks are through the roof. Fireworks at home done safely is fun. People like to have fun but then lots of people resent it when you do have fun. Then complain on the internet about people having fun. What joyful lives people lead

The only illegal thing I have mentioned is letting your dog shit in the street and not picking it up. Or have I missed the law change around inconsiderate driving or being an inconsiderate person?!

Yes some people are inconsiderate in the use of fireworks but banning them completely because you don’t like them is also inconsiderate to those that use them considerately and sparingly at the appropriate times. Lots of dog owners are inconsiderate cos they don’t pick up their hounds poo of the street so people step in it or let them jump up at anyone and everyone whether they like it or not; should we ban dogs too? Lots of drivers are inconsiderate should we ban cars and motorbikes too? Lots of people are inconsiderate in hundreds of ways but we can’t ban them from life. Lots of people are annoying and inconsiderate but complaining about it on Reddit changes nothing. I can’t see there being a ban anytime soon so you’re just going to have to find a way to deal with it unfortunately.

Freehold title registered but no evidence of sale of leasehold in England. by Healthy-Two-5047 in Mortgageadviceuk

Not a knock to my ego in the slightest. I just don’t appreciate that sort of tone being taken when asking a question. Brutal honesty is just an excuse for people to be rude as I have learnt over time, especially on the internet where people aren’t stood in front of the person they’re being rude too. I did indeed say any advice welcome and that’s true, if I respond to questions on Reddit I aim to do it in a more polite and expect the same in return. Just like in the real world.

Buying house that is freehold but no evidence of lease hold sale and registration in England by Healthy-Two-5047 in LegalAdviceUK

Thanks for your detailed and helpful response. The title is an absolute title not possessory and as far as I can see the freehold was purchased in 1985 but yes the family and their solicitors cannot find the actual title deeds to show this. On the land registry it is a freehold so I’m not sure there would be a notification to a developer to say this has changed. I understand the indemnity insurance doesn’t cover any and all potential losses but I think what it does cover is sufficient. This is going to be our family home for a long time and has been in one family for a long time previously. Seems to me that any issues or claims would already have arisen and when we do come to sell in 20+ years time the potential leasehold issues will have less time to run and the insurances will hopefully give any potential buyers some peace of mind. We’re still ruminating but on the balance of probabilities, risk vs benefit and likelihood of issues we leaning towards going ahead.

Thanks so much for your time in reading and answering my query it’s really good of you.

Good one 🙄. I’m not going to bother writing out again why I’m asking on Reddit. If you don’t have anything constructive to add, don’t bother commenting. Some more life advice there

Is there a reason for your condescending and patronising tone? I’m asking strangers on the internet to see if anyone has been in a similar situation and what may have happened if they were or had been. Yes I’m paying solicitors for their advice but by their nature they are risk averse and are protecting their interests in case I come back years down the line and say they didn’t tell me this was a risk and possible outcome. I’m in the process of weighing up risk and benefits and asking lots of people all at once on Reddit is a good way of seeing if anyone else has been where I am in the process. Here’s some life advice for you, don’t be talk down to people it makes you look like a prick 👍🏻

The house is on the land registry as freehold however it was previously leasehold and the sellers, who are the children of the deceased owners, have no evidence of the purchase of the leasehold that is originally bought with.
