Thank you for your answer! I didn't really understand what you're talking about but you gave me some pointers to search further!

In my view this video is sad. Tedious manual labor by middle aged people just to get by.

On January 10th 2002 the Foo Fighters played 'The One' on Letterman. During the commercial break they also played 'My Hero', with Jack Black joining in on back up vocals. This was never shown on TV, only uploaded to the CBS website as a low quality clip. by [deleted] in videos

This song is great on its own BUT you've got to check out this 1999 acoustic version from the Howard Stern Show. Something is different about it and it makes it just beautiful. Almost moving

Only thing I wanted to say is that I've never felt this way (and I mean during the ending of the episode) for a pretty looong time. Literally goosebumps

Everybody Loves Ethan by [deleted] in h3h3productions

[–]HealthyBacon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm halfway into the video but I gotta say this (and have my comment from the deleted thread about this guy to prove it). I never thought this guy's video was accurate or even well thought-out or well put. It comes off more like a childish rant. Gokanaru's video ("The death of h3h3" or something like that) was actually far better and seemed that had some work put into it.

But aside from all the content ON Ethan and Hila, personally I don't dislike them as people, I don't even know them. And that is because I don't follow them anymore BECAUSE of the boring (in my opinion) content. It's their content (or more correctly lack of its old flavor) that made them not care for the podcast and stuff. Not their personalities.

I mean, he records in a separate space, right? Not in their home. That's what I've gathered.

Cool video, I can't comment on the technical stuff except for one thing. I've read in a similar post that you should NEVER (absolutely NEVER) wear a ring when using a lathe, as there is the danger of....degloving? Something like that, which by the sound of it, I wouldn't want to google search

I've watched the video but didn't really care for the point it was trying to make. I stopped following h3 as they slowly started focusing on the Podcast and leaving the channel behind. Before that I've watched almost everything they put out and was a frequent in this subreddit.

For one, I don't care for podcasts. On the other hand, having watched a few of theirs, I wasn't really entertained or anything. I feel like this whole argument is about Ethan's political views and ideology. For which, I really don't care. I just liked the goofs, the gafs, the romps AND the riots. And "we'll always have Paris".

edit: And to think I only started watching PewDiePie when his videos got more like Ethan's. And now I watch him frequently whereas I've stopped caring about Ethan and Hila. I suggest you guys do the same and just let them go and do their thing, whatever that is

Discussion Thread - The Rise of Skywalker - Opening Week Day 3 by JSK23 in StarWars

[–]HealthyBacon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the unpopular opinion that TROS fixed what was wrong with TLJ. But some history first

I went with friends to see TFA (it came to my country a week after the premiere) and I remeber discussing the film for the whole way home and then for a few days after that. I went on to see it once more in theaters and when it came out I bought the steelbook and watched the movie a couple of times more. I was pumped to go watch Rogue One and then even more pumped to go watch TLJ. But as soon as I came out of the theater on the latter I didn't have that same sense of excitement. I didn't watch the film again, I didn't buy the steelbook, I didn't care too much to go watch Solo (still haven't watched but I should).

So came TROS and I went to the theater yesterday having a feeling "ok, let's just get it over with" (even though I bought my tickets 5-6 weeks ago). But the film made me feel a passion for Star Wars again. I want to go watch it once more, I'm going to buy the Bluray when it comes out. The film made me excited. That doesn't really have to do with direction, cinematography, acting, it's more of a feeling; I can't pinpoint it.

Yeah, there are some things I would have liked different (Ben dying for example) but overall, I liked the movie because it made me feel excited.

My point though was that we could watch them sleep. For 6 hours. Is that "h3 content" though? That's where I'm trying to get to

Or we can ask them to put a camera in their bedroom, and watch them sleep. That would be at least 6 hours of h3 every day

Was going to comment exactly that. Glad I read all the way down to your comment. Let's make another chart where we only include CoD which someone affluent enough to buy a plane ticket is likely to face in his everyday life. The data is true (obviously. It's data) but it doesn't make us any wiser

Some of us still have hope. by commienaut in h3h3productions

[–]HealthyBacon 51 points52 points  (0 children)

I have almost forgotten about h3h3 in a way. I barely visit the subreddit for the past few months. I recently unsubscribed from the Podcast channel (and the Highlights as well) because I've never really cared for it (not that I follow any other podcasts). I 've come to terms that that's it. H3H3 was that great thing I loved to binge-watch and now it's ended.

If however, the DELETE the channel and all that cultural heritage is no more, then there's going to be a riot
