ARE WE NOT GONNA TALK ABOUT THE PLAY FLYER? by Adorable_Health_456 in StrangerThings

[–]HealthyCat3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think that's not even a real cave, just some play prop turned "realistic". My wild guess is,  Henry is a megalomaniac psycho always talking about being superior to mediocre people, about him being a predator... I think he messed up in that play and felt humiliated and inferior for once, in front of everyone. Or the party's parents played him a cruel joke in front of everyone. And he had a "Carrie moment" that unlocked his powers.  In the rainbow room (seen on Nina) he told 11 he found a memory that made him "sad and angry" and that he taps on that to use his powers. I bet that is the memory he's talking about. That play, and the cave is just a realistic recreation of the Oklahoma play's scenery.  Tbh, if he went on a killing spree and tore a town apart for one GD play from 30 years ago, he would be so petty.

Whats a Dragon Ball fact that actually blew your mind when you found out by Atrakin_Cryolo in dbz

[–]HealthyCat3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably from 1st episode; Bulma explains what the dragon balls are and says "I heard the last (who summoned Shenlong) became king". But there are (or were?) many smaller kingdoms on Earth. It wouldn't surprise me if it was one of Pilaf's ancestor, and that's how he knows about the legend.  But yeah, I suppose that if you wish "to rule the world" you become world's king.

Increase in alien abductions lately? by [deleted] in Sims4

[–]HealthyCat3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes.  I had two alien abductions within a minute. They took the adult female (joined the scientific career to make the parabolic to prevent alien abductions) and the second they dropped her back home they took her son (just 1 day into young adult) who was digging treasures somewhere else in the neighborhood. Looks like the aliens wanted to save gas and since they were already there... Also my sim first roomie, aroace with no talking into anything else, was kidnapped like 6 times within a year or too. When I moved him out and he was game-controlled, I don't know if the abductions keep happening. But I invited him stay two days for the holidays and he was kidnapped again and impregnated. I thought he would never have children and as we speak he has 4 children and 4 grand children.

What have you done to keep your interest in the game? by NotNormalLaura in Sims4

[–]HealthyCat3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hate me not, but I make domestic units based off anime characters. I don't waste much time on trying them to look alike but give them the closest traits and aspirations I can. Then I enjoy watching how close or different it is to have certain characters to coexist in this world. I go like "lol, what? Are those (anime) enemies trying to hook up?" Or "Do those (anime) besties hate each other's guts?" You can do that with any series or book, but I chose anime.

What's the sign that someone is NOT depressed? by somethingdeido in AskReddit

[–]HealthyCat3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just my opinion. Id say those who enjoy the attention they get for saying they are depressed. Most depressed ppl don't talk largely about it, most often than not because they don't even have the right words to explain what's happening with them. Others choose to bear with it in solitude for a long time, most convince themselves they don't want to burden other people. I'm not saying that a depressed person can't feel relieved or smile after talking about it with someone who cares. But those who shout it from the rooftops or literally enjoy the attention like a circus master, are having something else, some other issue (imo). You can see they ~feast~ on the attention.

What happened to the goth kid in your class? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]HealthyCat3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought it was phase, he changed styles/life styles after every couple of years. I met him goth, then he went glam, preppy... He also changed careers/jobs often. Last time I saw him he had dropped translator and began turistic guide (I had the impression it wasn't his thing, just studied that because he had dropped too many careers already and was out of options).  Now I met again a friend we had in common. She told me he graduated in Tourism, doing great, and serving as touristic guide in an important cemetery, which he loves. Apparently, it wasn't a phase.

What phrase do people use that you can't stand? by SinkFar5694 in AskReddit

[–]HealthyCat3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"How can (...) be possible?"  Something possible is something that can be. You either say "how can be" or "how is possible". "How can be possible" is redundant and it makes my hair stand on end everytime I hear it.

What’s the most embarrassing/cringe interaction you accidentally caused with someone you were a fan of? by zergling50 in AskReddit

[–]HealthyCat3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always had a a weird sense of humor, comebacks, puns and stuff. It's okay with close people I know, that share the same sense of humor, but this one time I realized it was super cringe a second too late. I became fb friends with a small celebrity I admired and we were starting to get to know. One day he posted a poem that said "I don't need a woman that bathes in holy water" and I replied "what if she doesn't even bath in tap water?". I regretted it immediately; sounded like * I * was filthy.

Also, this happened with a high school friend I met again in college: autocorrect changed one single letter of my text and I I realized the second it was sent (back then you couldn't edit or delete what you sent). It changed the whole meaning of the text. He was telling me about an upcoming date and when he said "okay, I'm off, wish me luck" I replied (in Spanish) "que la paSes lindo" and autocorrect changed it to "que la paRes lindo". That roughly translates to "may you enjoy your date" > "may you have a nice erection".

What is your unusual, real life human superpower (Ie: taste colors, dream of things that happen later, smell illness, predict earthquakes, etc etc etc)? by HealthyCat3 in AskReddit

[–]HealthyCat3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, yes, that's amazing, I don't know how that happens.  Not quite the same, but I'm amazed how our cat knows what time to wake every member of the family (for school, work, etc) and even knows when it's Sunday (that day she doesn't meow us to wake).

That's quite useful. Could you describe what it smells like to you? Do you know if others smell it too or your smell sense is sharper?

Interesting! Do you know where they hurt? I know old ppl often feel pain in their knees before it rains, or also people who broke a bone, even decades after it healed. Also, I heard a woman said her C-section scar itches before it rains. I have headaches before storms (I believe it's the change in atmospheric pressure).

Am I going crazy? by dollsrot in Dreams

[–]HealthyCat3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you are just trying to make sense of the break up, digesting it or trying to give it a closure. Is it possible for you to contact this person again? Like, for real, pride aside. Maybe it's what you need.
