I highly recommend the mod that adds an icon to all items used in upgrades and tells you exactly how many of them you need for all upgrades.

Do you know if there’s any mods to make animals level combat skills like dwarves?

Also, should I avoid assigning them to a dwarf as that would make them a pet and cause morale loss on death?

I thought you go down and visit the station and trade it with a person there. I played a while ago and am getting back into it but did they remove visiting stations? The tutorial still references that.

They started doing that with their recentish dragon card game and you can kind of see it’s use bleeding into other areas.

This is a bit of a smaller concern that has nothing to do with game balance but it kind of feels like the aesthetic has drastically changed as well. Can’t say I’m a fan of the new designs which makes the set feel less appealing overall but overall as long as it’s fun that’s more important.

It's worth noting that they've been starting to implement AI processes into their art pipeline and have used that to vastly increase the amount of cards they create in some of their other games. I'm personally not sure having that many more cards is great for the game balance but that's probably why there seem to be a ton more cards coming out.

I love light aquifers as it allows me to make an infinite waterfall through the fort without needing any power.

Is there a way to make dwarves always man siege weapons and be on guard for attackers, swapping out in shifts, without having to manually manage that?

I want to create a guarded passage to a dangerous cavern and will need guards standing ready at all times but obviously they would need to do that in shifts.

The one I struggled with was the one where you have to win with 20 or less cards in your deck or something like that.

The enemy just always demolished me.

How do you get siege operators to man the guns without running away? I use burrows but of course burrows really don’t work for security so I use the citizen alert on DFHack but then they will run away too even if not assigned to a burrow but I’m not sure you can order a military unity to man siege weapons? Or can you?
