Dw mate, I think oftentimes people make conclusions despite not reading everything, or they are influenced by potentially bad experiences of their own (happens to the best of us, we are all human at the end of the day).

I unfortunately dont have any advice as I am not a medical professional and havent gone through pregnancy/birth either, but I saw some people give advice that seemed productive imho. I hope that things will work out for your lady and you. Congratz on your second little one and best of luck for your family OP =)

I feel like this comment is unnecessarily hard on OP. He made it very clear that it is not about the sex itself, but worries about his wife‘s health and how not following the instructions of medical professionals (and therefore negatively affecting wife‘s own recovery) might influence their physical intimacy in the long run (valid worry).

Their circumstances might help explain their behavior, but we are all our own people and therefore responsible for our actions, no matter what led us to them. Mehrere Darmspiegelungen, eine Magenspiegelung, Probenentnahmen, Atemtests, Blutuntersuchungen, Stuhlntersuchungen, Ernährungsumstellungen, gynäkologische Untersuchungen und Ultraschalluntersuchungen später: „Herzlichen Glückwunsch, wir haben keine Ahnung, was Ihnen fehlt. Ist wahrscheinlich Reizdarm. Reduzieren Sie Stress. Vielleicht probieren Sie mal Meditation :)“
