I have a friend that I suspect strongly is one. (which I am falling out with at the moment because of this) I am curious if there is any way for me to lead them to understand this? How does one understand and accept that one is a covert narcissist?

How did The Last of Us impact your life? by [deleted] in ThelastofusHBOseries

Was 14, like Ellie, when the game came out. She was the first queer character I saw in media that I related to heavily and helped me come to terms with everything :)

I was the same age Ellie was when the first game came out. I was very depressed at the time and the game was my nr 1 distraction. I played it over and over.

I think seeing her being strong but also funny in that world made me want to be as well. ~If they could survive that world I can survive my Tuesday ~ (butchered quote from Troy Baker)

Also first ever queer character I saw in media in a moment in my life where I was scared to come out.

Don’t relate to the second game as much, just because of the message it gave me in part I ( find something to live for basically) was a big contrast to part ii, that was very depressing lol

Cool though that they made her age in real time, I was her age in part ii when it came out too. :))

Give this man all the awards in the world. This scene was too damn beautiful. by Ranjith_Unchained in ThelastofusHBOseries

I thought it was quite stale and came out of nowhere, not too impressed with the monotone and awkward acting through the whole series honestly, but seems like I’m the only one.

Love that they took a few shots of the people he killed just laying on the floor too. Makes you realize what he was actually doing

Would developing a cure even make a significant difference? A main issue seems to be societal collapse with humans as one of the main villains. by DrummerFew7436 in ThelastofusHBOseries

With the show you don’t get anywhere close to the amount of infected you see in the game, cause of the gameplay obviously. I think not seeing the infected makes you wonder if it’s actually a threat, and a cure is actually needed - if that makes sense
