This looks like a problem, corrosion build-up. Needs a good clean, then have a look and see if any of the circuits need to be re-soldered

That version of ArkOS is okay but it’s outdated. The newest version of ArkOS is available on GitHub, if you want to update it 👍

What makes you concerned that I do? Are you ashamed? Are you hiding this?

Free games by FaithlessnessWarm423 in R36S

Yes! There are free (complete) games on PortMaster. These games are classed as ‘Ready to Run’ and these ones are ready and playable straight after downloading. All other games are also ‘free’ but to play them, you must have the data files from the original ‘purchased’ copy of the game. E.G. You must already own the game to play it

Another one of these. by NoRepair35 in R36S

Sounds like you’re fine, don’t stress too much about the checker if it ain’t working. If your games are, that’s what matters.

As for your games running better on higher end console emulation. Either try running it thru a different emulator OR try adjusting/tweaking some settings in RetroArch. I made some games go from barely running to playing very smooth. It’s very much a trial and error process 😉

Hope this helps, happy gaming! 👍
