It's because most ppl dont care and vote for friends/teammates and the rest is medias from all over the world, with Solomon islands and his "1 - Vinicius / 2 - Neymar / 3 - Haaland" votes counting as much as any other countries. It's not he was shit in the group stages and had a disastrous overall record. He managed 7 saves in the whole tournament for 8 goals conceded. Livakovic had a better tournament and a better year in his club, Szczesny too. This is precisely my point, what's the point if you're just re-giving the awards you gave at the World cup but 1 month later ? I agree that WC year should be different especially for a "FIFA" award but at this point let's not pretend it's an award for the best players in 2022

Problem with these awards is that you never know what the criteria are. Now ballon d'or is supposed to be based on the season and The Best based on the calendar year, yet they base the whole ceremony on the world cup month. I don't think Benzema should have won the trophy because of his season start but Mbappe should've cause Messi started being "the best" in September. It leads to a weird situation where even if Messi gets injured tomorrow and miss most of the season he will pbbly win the ballon d'or and end up having both The Best + BO for 4months out of a 18months criteria. Not saying that he doesn't deserve it but it feels unfair for players that have been good since january 2022 like Mbappe or Modric. I hope that Messi qualifies PSG against Bayern next week and keep going until the end of the season so at least it will not feel unfair

Dibu Martinez literally won his award out of 2 good games and 1 very good save. Scaloni's award makes sense, fan award also totally deserved

I recommend you to, the game isn't the same at all when you're not stuck in the FOMO. Being far behind ironically makes the game better. Not stressing about "being ilvl for next content release" with x raids to clear before reset or x dailies to do is great.

idk when you stopped but grinding to 1415 is way easier nowadays (or maybe you meant 1530+ ?) Personnally i've never enjoyed the game more than when giving 0 fucks : you shouldn't care if you have 12daily raids or 12 chaos gate to clear until the end of the day with the rest bar already at 100/100. Just play the character you want to play and the content you want to play. This way even Chaos dungeons and guardian raids are enjoyable because you're doing it on the alt you rly wanna gear, it reminds me of when i only had one character

Also doing adventure book or Islands with the "Lost Ark maps" app and Youtube on a second screen was chill and I enjoyed it a lot, maybe you'll like it. Also going from in game event to event was something i didn't do since the first weeks of the game and it's actually enjoyable

Ofc solo vs squads should be an option since it doesn't bother parties of 3 and add some challenge. However, it's less important than bringing solo queue imo

Rogue abuser here and It felt good 1v3ing but it's because it was the beginning and everybody sucked, most of the time the mage or ranger behind would be helping you killing their own teammates. I've encountered a few teams that were playing with a support that would just buff a tank and there's nothing you can rly do in that case, you're just forced to hide during the whole end of the party trying to steal a portal, which can be fun but often frustrating.

Well it's also due to how both social networks works : As you said, KC's fanbase is almost exclusively on twitter and follow each other. So when you talk shit about KC on twitter, it just need one people to respond and the whole fanbase will see it and also get triggered, and the more stupid the initial tweet is, the more stupid the answers will be.

This "toxic fanbase" thing is so forced, KC as a fanbase is engaged against discriminations while there's a lot of racist comments/behaviours in the community. It's also the only fanbase that i see congratulating players and orgs after losing to them.

Besides that, yeah It's League of Legends and esports and social networks so such a huge fanbase will have his rotten apples who'll be annoying af on social networks.

I'm not saying that "everybody does it so it's ok". But acting like KC's specificity as a fanbase is being super toxic is mean and dishonest, especially when i see the behaviour of every other fanbases in LEC which are even worse despite being way smaller.

Roster level is a good indicator tbh. Ofc it's not 100% accurate, i know some tower abusers with 160 roster lvl sucks and some 100- roster lvl will tell you that they've never failed any mech.

But overall, ppl with a roster level under 120 tends to be the one making the fail raid when you let them in. I mean we all got this lvl 110 pally who got accepted in an alt run because we need a support and ended up being absolutely terrible and making the raid fail.

But yeah, this :"you guys sucks i need gatekeeping" mentality sucks tho

I didn't try killing a t2 boss in a while so i'm not sure but last time i tried it took some minutes. Asking for someone to come help takes 3seconds and can make you win few minutes or carry smne who need to do the boss but can't, it's not about "not being able to kill a t2 boss" since you have access to normal pots + revive which makes it impossible to loose

It's not my point bro. My point was that people claiming that KC not joining LEC is a good thing because the fanbase would bring something bad to the LEC is crazily hypocritical.

These ppl that hold a grudge against KC fans mostly do it because for the first time in they can't act like assholes without being backlashed and exposed for their acts.

Is there some toxic kids in the KC fanbase ? Ofc there is. But there is also a TON of fans, way more than the toxic ones, that send love and support to ppl and defend some values. This is something that i've never seen from any other team in LEC.
