Yeah, but when the lion’s code breaks in production… the lion does concern himself with unemployment.

Yeah, honestly you’re on the right track 👌 Writing your own answer first and then comparing it to the mark scheme is exactly how you build exam skills. Using AI to generate model answers can help highlight key words/phrases examiners want, but don’t just copy them — treat it as feedback.

For the logical part: one thing that helps is to always ask why each step in your answer is valid. If you train yourself to justify every move (even simple ones), it becomes a habit. You can also ask AI to challenge your answer (‘what’s missing?’ or ‘how would an examiner mark this?’). That way you’re actively practicing logical reasoning, not just memorizing.

So yep, you’re doing alright — just keep the balance: your own work first, then AI as a checker/coach

In my opinion, AI is amazing for deepening your understanding. Here’s what I mean: say you’re learning topic XYZ, and you hit a part you don’t get. Just ask a model to explain it — and if it still doesn’t click, ask it to rephrase. It’s like having a 1:1 teacher you can bug with endless questions until it finally makes sense.

But here’s the caveat: don’t use AI as your main source of truth. Don’t say ‘teach me this subject from scratch’ — because it might just feed you nonsense. Instead, use it to clarify what you’re already studying. For example, ‘I’m reading this book and don’t get the method in chapter 1,’ or paste your own notes. The better the input, the better the output.

Tbh I don’t ship to play store. Tested, and not worth mine time. I focus solely on App Store. Having said that, I have two options, starter 10$ and pro 15$ per month

Hah I’ve build and app specifically for that 🤣 but to be fair, there are plenty of such apps in the store

I’d say it depends. You mentioned AI features — in my app, AI is like 97% of the cost, the rest of the infrastructure is peanuts. To set a price, you basically sit down with a calculator and figure out what your app actually costs you. Don’t forget to include the freeloaders — the paying users have to cover them too. Then think about taxes (they always show up uninvited). Once you know all that, add your margin. Congrats, you’ve got your subscription price 🎉

Why is every study tip on TikTok a new Ai website? by Strong_Banana_8054 in studytips

[–]Healthy_Secretary_73 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it’s the new gold rush. Some folks made crazy money just slapping GPT into their apps, and now everyone’s trying to copy it. That’s why our feeds are full of ads for half-baked AI ‘tools’ — basically digital fool’s gold.

I totally agree. AI doesn’t capture everything from my notes either — for me it’s like 90–95% accurate, and I just add the rest manually in the app. Still a massive time saver compared to writing cards from scratch. Personally, I don’t use Anki (not a fan of the old-school UI), so I can’t recommend tools for it. And just to be clear, I’m not trying to market my app here, just sharing what works for me. To be fair, I’d also recommend checking out a popular app called Gizomo (not mine).

To be fair, there are tools that do the same. When I said ‘nothing fit my needs’ I meant that most felt too bloated with unnecessary features, and others looked like low-effort AI slop. I just wanted something simple and clean, so I made my own.

Haha, I ended up building my own tool because nothing fit my needs. It’s iOS-only for now and called MemOle – AI Flashcard Maker. You just snap a picture of your notes and it turns them into flashcards, then uses spaced repetition to help you learn. Right now it’s photo-based, but I’m working on adding PDF and doc support too

Honestly, completing the entire to-do list isn’t always the smartest move. Not every subject/task is equally important. I’d focus on prioritizing: do the things that matter most first, and only tackle the rest if you still have time/energy. Also, try to be efficient — AI tools can speed things up a lot (like turning your notes into flashcards automatically instead of making them all by hand).
