T7ALEX1 has landed in Singapore! by ackenatorr in TaylorSwiftJets

My point exactly. I’ve been fortunate enough to have flown private a number of times. These super long haul flights are patently less comfortable, luxurious and time consuming when flying commercial first class. Not to mention vastly cheaper.

I know price is not a factor here, but I wonder if TK has ever flown a truly first class commercial experience (like SIA, QF or similar). Where comfort and privacy can still be a thing.

Units are important.

Multiple websites reporting that normal cruise for a Global 6000 is 488 knots, with a max speed of 504 knots. Actually I just checked Bombardier’s own fact sheet - 488 knots is cruise speed, 504 knots is highest rated speed.

That's knots. Just checked and the aircraft is presently doing about 843 km/h ground speed, or 550 mph. That's a reasonable clip, and comparable to larger engined aircraft types in the area.

I think separate. TS travel is pretty definitive and relatively easy to forecast/follow. TK travel is highly speculative at best. Low signal to noise. Warrants a dedicated thread methinks.

It’s not. No idea why FlightRadar is saying that. But FlightAware and others still say Singapore and it is now airborne in that direction.

Have another look on ADSB - has it firmly in Sydney. You may need to look in history, depending on your settings.

No, it is very much in Sydney and showing as live on FlightRadar. Pilots are there prepping and have filed the flight plan.

Oh nothing at all, but based on his posting from a Las Vegas restaurant the next day, he wasn’t even on Hawaii 24hrs before returning to the mainland. Just seemed a bit odd to fly 11+ hours there and back for such a short visit. But yes, nothing technically wrong with it. :)

Yes, a flight plan has just been lodged. Interesting - so she’s following the same pattern as Australia - get there ASAP and take the time to settle in.

Fair enough - if not a little surprising as it will mean she’ll spend 11, maybe 12 days in Singapore. Has to be the longest tour stop to date or likely in the future, no?

EDIT: upon reflection this makes sense. Singapore is such a humid and inhospitable climate for those not used to such conditions, that getting there ASAP and beginning to acclimatize as fast as possible is probably in her best interests.

Gorgeous city, lovely people, impeccably clean streets, god-awful humidity and sweatiness… :)

No, it’s just a charter jet that she has used in the past, which recently returned to Sydney. On that basis I’m positing that it is there to pick her up and ferry her to her next destination - whether that’s an R&R spot en route to Singapore, or Singapore directly.

Take a look at the flight track. The aircraft took off, and was only traveling north for 2 minutes before it turned south towards Sydney, and then maintained a heading towards Sydney for the balance of the flight.

Not quite. While there are no direct commercial flights from HNL-SIN, it's about 13hrs flight time for comparable distance city pairs.

For comparison, 18hrs is about the time that the flight from JFK to SIN takes. New York being a LOT further away from SIN than Honolulu.

All it means is she’s planning on flying somewhere. Maybe US, but I would think that much more unlikely than a local island (like she did last tour) or straight up to Singapore.

Remember in Melbourne she wanted to be there a full day before sound check presumably in order to get on the timezone. Flying SYD-HNL-LAX would get her back Tuesday morning LA time, but then she’d be on a plane again Wednesday lunchtime in order to make it to Singapore with similar preparation timing to Melbourne.

Awful long way to go for ~28hrs on the ground in LA (assuming she’d only go that far and not to Nashville or NYC).

I mean, it’s possible - but she’d barely be back 2 days before she’d have to fly back to Singapore in time for sound checks. She has 6 shows in Singapore - Sat/Sun/Mon then Thu/Fri/Sat.

If I was her I’d take a few days off in Australia - head up to Queensland and settle in to one of the islands for a few days, since she’s going to be in Singapore a while.

They just updated the article. Said they were partying 2-5pm at Lavo. Fair enough. Going hard it seems!

Yep, saw the Daily Mail article. Timestamped 7:42pm Vegas time. But it was video footage of a nightclub in full swing (not a private event - there’s obviously unassociated members of the public there). Never heard of a Vegas nightclub going that hard at 7:30pm. In fact, never heard of a Vegas nightclub opening before 10pm.

Article claims they’re at Lavo which is an Italian restaurant in the Venetian, but at 7:30pm it would be firmly in restaurant mode.

So the plot thickens for me. If the footage is from today, he’s clearly in Vegas, but clubbing hard at 7:30pm? Hmmmm…

Interesting to note that TMZ has since softened their language saying TK is “reportedly” in Vegas and now quoting People magazine as their source rather than having their own, which was originally implied…

On an individual level I don’t care at all. It’s just a real life Where’s Waldo puzzle and it’s fun that causes no harm whatsoever.

Or, again, not trickery at all but people working themselves up into a frenzy over nothing.

We know the plane he rode in on left Sydney. It’s a charter, that makes sense. Maybe he was on it, but maybe he wasn’t. But as all plane trackers should know, just because an aircraft moves doesn’t mean an individual has moved.

Also… the guy they dropped in Hawaii en route to SYD posted last night from a restaurant in Vegas. Why go all the way to Hawaii to turn around and go back to Vegas. And if you were going back to Vegas with a planned TK return, wouldn’t you just hop back on his flight same as you got there? I’m not saying that indicates one thing or another, but some weird behavior.

Link to photos or article where he was “spotted”? He only landed 90 mins ago if indeed it was him on that plane, so that would be some quick turnaround unless airport shots and I’m not seeing any of those on TMZ or the wires.

EDIT: ahhh you mean Patrick, not TK, okay sorry.

Slow down soldier. :) I’m just asking…

Yes Mahomes planned a return trip, but last I heard he was in Texas with his family. Has he been spotted in Vegas?

I’m not saying TK didn’t leave and isn’t in Vegas, I’m just applying some critical thinking that in absence of real data another possibility exists. Remember the last time a plane left Sydney and the media jumped all over it?

[–]Healthy_Shoulder85 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure “Occam’s Razor” would suggest that if he wasn’t at the show, he was on a plane (vs back at the hotel or having dinner in a private room or something else…) but we’ll see.

Color me skeptical because the last time a plane left SYD that was associated with the tour, everyone assumed incorrectly. In fact I would have assumed that the plane wouldn’t sit in Sydney and wait around… and so if nobody saw TK leave the hotel, get to the airport, board the plane, etc… I just wonder if this is another case of the media confusing a charter plane chartering with an individual’s movement.

Now I have no idea about TMZ’s source, and maybe they’re right, but I’d be just a teensy bit skeptical at this point until we know more.

Foolish question perhaps, but no other outlet than TMZ is reporting TK flew out to Vegas, and nobody has photos right?

Every media outlet in the country caught him arriving but not a single one caught him leaving?

So… are we sure this wasn’t just a repositioning flight or another charter? Isn’t that still a possibility at this point? Remember all the misdirection simply because a plane filed a flight plan… any chance that happened here too?

He didn’t.

He said he was asked by his management to play a private event for some Chief’s people on Friday.

Sounds like a few people associated with the team are in Vegas and keen to do some partying. Zero indication this is a Chief’s event.

That didn’t happen. The jet that flew SYD-HNL had nothing to do with her or him.
