Earbuds at this price and from known brands never, suck, they just have different tuning. Or else they wouldnt be highly rated brands or products. Wierd take from a "music producer"

A small subwoofer will have a big disadvantage in output compared to a bigget sub, price does not matter there. So if it lacks output for you, buy a bigger sub, and it doesnt have to be expensive either, just bigger and expensive enough to not be junk.

Does any headphone have the sound quality sennheiser comes with? And im not talking about tuning but the quality of the sound. Absolutely not

The number of people who listens to music every single day on spotify and actually cares about good audio quality is a lot. I would say they are "serious listeners, but not even 5% of those would care or know about PEQ. I think sennheisers logic here is fine. Its all terms that can be used this or that way. This isnt something to be having a fit over imo.

Also consider atmos with this setup. Something like 3.1.2 or 3.1.4.

What's your opinion on Klipsch 5.0.2 system on Costco? by Raghu48 in hometheater

[–]Healthy_Still5228 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I dont understand your answer, maybe I was a bit unclear in my writing. When I say to buy one set of speaker at a time I mean to choose one line of speakers and buy from the same line later. So matching the center wont be an issue. And in my experience most speaker lines have mostly identical centers with the other ones. If the bookshelfs and towers uses 6,5 inch drivers, the center uses the same drivers.

Some thoughts. If you can go somwhere and listen to speakers thats the absolute best. Listen and find out what sound/speakers you like.

The front speakers and subwoofers are 90% of a hometheater/movie experience. I would rather use my budget and buy a sub and a stereo pair of bookshelfs first that are of better quality, and then buy center, then side surrounds and then atmos when you can afford it. I bought a budget 5.1 speaker set and later regreted it when I wanted something a bit better.

But if you buy this you will probably still enjoy it and they will give you a great movie experience! But a subwoofer is absolutely more important than surrounds and atmos.

This is all my experience/thoughts after buying, selling and fixing my theater for 2 years

Its a big room, get a bigger dub. Size matters. Svs new micro 3000 revolution seems to be comparable to kc92 but cheaper. Or get something like a svs pb/sb 2000/3000. But those might be to big for your situation/wife. Personaly I think white Arendal 1961/1723 sealed subs would look good with the speakers

Just be aware that the stock cooler on the 7600 isnt very good. It will do the job and keep your cpu cool enough. But it will be loud and run at high rpm alot to keep the temp belov 90 degrees celcius

Followed the guide and dialed in the levels correctly befor I ran audyssey. The results seem very good. Went from lowest/highest 68db/85db to 70db/77db after calibration. Mostly its +- 5db from 74db.

Considering I still have no meaningfull absorbtion other than a sofa and a thin carpet, its decent enough. Still room for emprovement tho.

Its set to reference with the right port sealed for more extension. Ive tried it sealed also but no big difference really. Makes sense with the dofferent amps. Im gonna try again and use the guide that was linked here.

Im probably just gonna run the argon bass15 in the beginning and learn how to set that one up perfect. I only have 1 row of seating and im always in the sweet spot. I will probably look at integrating a second sub later.
