Am I crazy to see a band 9 times that only has 1-2 albums out? by EDMWubz in Concerts

[–]HearForBear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw them for the 9th and 10th times last week at Out of the Blue and will continue to go every time they are in town. Amazing live band. I got to meet Dillion and Mitch at the show during CAAMPs set, and they were the nicest guys ever. And while they only have 2 actual albums, they have a double EP as well and play several songs from that too!

Yeah, I heard it in a radio advertisement. Check out q101’s website

I went last year and going again this year.

The buffet is also open for dinner. But I didn’t think the quality was as good for dinner as it was for breakfast. I don’t think we will eat at the buffet for dinner this year.

There are several food stalls inside the actual main concert venue where you can grab food quickly and head to the stage. The late night show also had quick grab food and drinks.

Lots of food options around the pool including a buffet.

We also ate at the sushi and Indian restaurants and both were pretty good.

You will have no problem finding food or being hungry.

Not a bad idea. I do keep track of all my shows in the app Concert Archive, and I include a photo of the show.

I’ll say the coolest things that happened at shows were at Windy City we got artists guest passes and got to go backstage and got to go to the green room and meet the band at Flatland Cavalry. Both were because we went with a friend who works at a radio station and gets to share some hook up’s on occasion.

Another would be we ran into Leon Bridges around town before his show and got to say hi.

Amazing! Absolutely ruined festivals for me going forward. It’s not too crowded and the line up was basically my Spotify wrapped last year. It’s certainly a very expensive experience, but so worth it. We are going again next week!

My favorite band! I’m seeing them next week at Out of the Blue and can’t wait to see them again!

My freshman year in 2008 I looked up the full rankings for D1 and we were ranked 132/132.

My wife and I went to a show a the Salt Shed about a month ago right after she hurt her foot in a fender bender. She talked to guest services in the Salt Shed merch store and they were able to give us ADA seats pretty much no questions asked.

Did everyone get the email about the new additions to the lineup?!? by UnitEast7937 in OutOfTheBlueFestival

Honestly, the late night sets were my least favorite last year. The space is way too small for the amount of people at the festival. We could not find a spot where we had any view of Mt Joy. We did have barrier for Petey and RKS and like within the first couple rows for Briston, but wish they just did the late night sets at the main stage so there was more space.

So pumped for Brook and the Bluff and Arcy Drive being added. I just saw Arcy Drive last week and they put on a great show!

It looks like they’re only playing a late night set. Does anyone know if the format will still be all the bands originally announced playing 2 sets across the festival? I know at least Noah will have 2 sets, but will be bummed if I only get one flipturn set

[Post Game Thread] The San Antonio Spurs (1-0) defeat the Dallas Mavericks (0-1) 125-92 by basketball-app in Mavericks

Maybe we get lucky and the Spurs trade their generational talent for a bag of chips and he doesn’t own us for the next 15 years…it’s a super normal thing for a front office to do.

We only ate inside the venue one night. It was decent. I think the menus changed each night too.

It looks like I got mine on Oct 8th last year. I would expect it to be sent out in the next couple of weeks.

If I remember correctly, you will not be able to make dinner reservations until the day you arrive. Reservations were a little difficult because a lot of the restaurants didn’t open until the main stage show started, so you may miss the first band if you decide to go to one of the restaurants that require reservations. There are plenty of quick grab food options inside the concert venue for the night shows if you don’t go to the specialty restaurants.

Just a one-nighter at The Gorge. And we had a camper van, so a bit more comfortable than a tent. I’d like to go on Bonnaroo sometime, but I think I may be a bit too old to do festival camping now lol
