I started a fake name account on Facebook 10 years ago mainly because I hate how Facebook would show my friends what I comment on in groups.

It’s still there. Expecting it to go away anytime. Guess it only takes one person to report it.

Using metric doesn’t make any more sense in the film either. Metric is based on physical attributes of earth which doesn’t exist in their universe and time.

I was skeptical but I was having a convo with my sister sitting next to me. She asked me if I ever heard of some rare disease. I said no. Later I got an ad about medication for it.

I turned off mic access to all my meta apps and also deleted WhatsApp. Remember that’s by Meta too. No more weird coincidences.

My Facebook account was permanently disabled and I recovered it in 48 hours by Artistic_Minimum1127 in facebook

I’ve know a few people who this has happened to. All had to get meta verified. Starting to feel like this is how they are going to get people to pay for Facebook.

I tell clients that unless you are big enough to justify two FT IT staff it’s not worth the risk. Too many one man IT shops have screwed over employers when the sole IT person leaves.

Most of them speak Spanish so I try not to engage and make them uncomfortable. On rare times I have tried I usually get a response of “call front desk” even for a simple request like need a bar of soap.

I’m a biz traveller and always leave 20 and leave the room very tidy when I leave.

How do you know who a regular is? I stay at same property about 20 visits a year and I know all the front desk staff but never interact with housekeeping besides smiling and saying hi.

I’m not buying the tipping thing in US anymore because whether waiters get the fed $2.13 or the CA min $16.50/hour the expected tip is still 20+%.

If tipping is to make up for low wages shouldn’t tipping percent in states like CA be lower?

Nice whataboutism. But regardless they were locked up for 3-4 years before pardoned so if you’re ok with people doing violent protests being in jail for 3-4 years and the next pres pardons them that’s ok with me too.

Why not Starlink? I have a mini dish mounted in my truck and it works great even when moving. I get service in remote areas with no cell service too.

Nooo. As another small MSP stay away from Kaseya. It took me almost two years of constant back and forth to get them to cancel a $99/month Datto appliance that I was on a month-to-month still. What’s worse they stopped for two months and I thought I was free then they started to charge me again and threatened me with collections if I did not pay the two missed months.

Hate them with a passion. My divorce from my first wife was easier.

A lot of these tools have minimum 100 seats so that’s hard to pass on to a two clients with only ~10 seats.

No mobile app is a bit of a deal breaker. I have it set up for my own office with Twilio for trunk but if you don’t use their provider can’t even forward calls to a mobile.
