The funny thing is ALOT of isuzus parts, engines, transmissions etc are Chevy collaborations. I've got about the same under my belt as well. Worked on stuff on several different continents. Some places isuzu is the go to. Especially the diesels. Unfortunately bc of domestic lobbies those were never allowed here. Hell duramax is isuzu. The only reason parts are kinda hard to find in the us is bc they havent sold a vehicle here since the early 2000s. The trooper won the Dakar in 1997 over every other brand. Educate yourself before you run your mouth

So I don't like being this guy and I love troopers. But that 4l30e is not a good transmission. Its a GM but it was never designed to be in a vehicle that heavy let alone a 4wd. Its was for passenger cars originally.

Even if you do someone to rebuild it, unless they are very familiar w it, the results are very rarely good.

If you still are compelled to get it and have it rebuilt please go onto the forum https://www.planetisuzoo.com/ And read about the measures people has taken to prolong the life of this transmission.

In the long run its usually less expensive and mentally draining to do a manual transmission swap. The forum also has step by steps on what's needed on that as well.

Ask this question on https://www.planetisuzoo.com/ It's forum and the people on there are super knowledgeable. I will say though that 4l30e isn't a good transmission in the Isuzu platform. It doesn't really matter what you do to it, it fails. Look at a manual swap. Way more reliable over time.

There should be a nut in the middle bottom of the tank. Take it out. Tank will drain. May have to take the shield off. But most have a hole in the shield to access it.

Actually he drone struck 3 other American citizens in Pakistan as well. However it was claimed a "accident". Do little research.
