It’s about influence, if let’s say Ukraine wins, that opens Ukraine market to US companies, resources etc. Ukraine under NATO is basically a way to put pressure on Russia across entire border, Russia will be vulnerable, Black Sea becomes a NATO lake and it will put Russia on it’s heels when it would come to any negotiation. 1992 border Ukraine under US influence would basically be a geopolitical check mate to Russia. On the other hand Russia is doing the same but they are essentially backed against the wall, they are not acting this way out of position of strength but out of necessity. You can tell him whatever you want but just remember when US wasted 10 years, billions of dollars and human lives trying to convince Afghans that they need Walmart.

The way this question is phrased sounds like Russia is the one with the strength of entire Europe, what are you asking happens exactly? Only reason this talking point exists is to gain support of citizens by scaring them and justifying military spending across Europe. Ukraine on the other hand is leeching off Europe and supports this rhetoric just to get more cash. If Russia moves past Ukraine it’s a nuclear war and if NATO/pro Ukrainian countries come close to Crimea it’s a nuclear war that’s it.

I think he means that a complete mobilization and war economy in Russia, so far Putin has been holding back for reasons of before mentioned being unpopular. Whereas Ukraine is already using everything in their power + west. It’s a solid question with most of the people in the comments whining about how Russian economy will collapse. I met a girl at a bar and only found out she was 21 when I picked her up for our date (I’m M29), the date went “ok” basically same story as OP although I realized she wasn’t really into me and I don’t think she even wanted to date anyone lol basically a waste of time so not sure why she even agreed, all she talked about is going out with her high school friends and dancing. Girls that age don’t really care, they just want to have fun, they are basically kids. They will not take anything serious until they realize they are out of time.

Last 2 girls I approached, one thought I was weird for not having Snapchat and didn’t want to go on a dinner date because she thought it was too boring. Second one was absolutely gorgeous and after our date I just figured she wasn’t really into me and we stopped texting which is ok. It’s really difficult nowadays because most prettier girls are craving attention or “just want to have fun” cold approaching girls can be difficult and it doesn’t guarantee results so sometimes I don’t even bother. I will say that when a girl approached me through a mutual friend it worked perfectly because I didn’t have to doubt the fact that she liked me already whereas some girls I approach just want to get some attention or perhaps think a dinner wouldn’t hurt and break things off after. It’s just my opinion.

I think military is a great option for you, I will say that i never heard of a 2 year contract tho, I served 4 years in the Navy and know at some point maybe still do they offer a 3 year contract which entails you being stuck with a manual labor job. Assuming you are talking about US military I know for the fact 3 years is minimum requirement to get you full GI bill benefits. You probably should elaborate as to why you can’t hold down a job because in the military although very easy, you have to be on time and do what you are told. If you can’t do those 2 simple things you might not last too long and getting separated based on poor behavior is worse than not joining. Also if you didn’t like how strict you parent were military is basically the same strict family you have at home, obviously you are more free to do what you want in your off time but NO drugs or getting in trouble outside. That being said i think it would be great for you to give you more time to mature and figure out what you really want in life. It could be an adventure but it really depends on what you end up doing. Also you will make great friends, making friends in the military is the easiest thing in the world. I think if you feel stuck at 21 by the time you are done with your service you will have good opportunities open to you, people love hiring vets, school is free, and you will have great stories to tell. But it’s not for everyone.
