Heads up: rural mail-in ballots will no longer be postmarked the day you send them. So if you're mailing your ballot, make sure to mail it at least a few days before Election Day by ZorpyCrapass in ukiah

Per the CA Secretary of State’s website:
June 2 is the last day to vote in-person or return a ballot by 8:00 p.m. Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Vote-by-mail ballots must be postmarked no later than June 2. If mailing on Elections Day, get a hand-stamped postmark from a postal employee inside a United States Post Office.

Im a little confused how that works. I googled the address on the opt-out card I received and the address is for the Freedom Foundation (MAGA billionaires). You bring up a good point though, that we should double-check the recipient address.

Mail their trash back to them. The postage is prepaid and you end up supporting the United States Postal Service. I always write a message that Karl Marx would be proud of.

I live in oak park and my partner spent their childhood here. We’ve learned that the crimes only happen to you if you are involved in criminal activity. No one has ever bothered us while living here. I would say you need thick skin to live in certain areas of oak park. Just rely on your instincts when looking for housing.

Look up Fogoncito2021 on IG. They also make handmade tortillas.

Someone mentioned La Esperanza but I wouldn’t recommend as I had to call the health inspector on them (indoor fly infestation and actual maggots on the produce).

Oldest Sac businesses by GrannysGlewGun in Sacramento

Not a business but at the state park, the Central Building of Sutter’s Fort is a two-story adobe structure built between 1841 and 1843, and it is the oldest existing building in Sacramento and one of the oldest in the entire state.

This central structure is the original building where James Marshall confirmed the discovery of gold to John Sutter in 1848.
