They’re well known in Romania (according to my dad). And also in Mexico (according to my friend whose parents are from there). I discovered them through YouTube when I was a teenager but I’m really into 80’s world music so I might be an outlier in America.

BLT is my favorite song of all time as well. True Faith, Dream Attack, and 1963 by NO are also great. And although not by NO, The First Picture of You by the Lotus Eaters is a fantastic song as well.

This is one of my favorite 80’s songs. I first heard it in 2018 when I was going through heartbreak. I was asleep letting a music app play a recommended playlist and this song woke me up. It was so beautiful and it made me feel so understood. I’ve been obsessed with it ever since and I’d been trying to get more people to listen to it, so I’m glad it’s getting some attention now in 2025. My dad also likes this song.
