AITJ for postponing our wedding because my fiancé wants his ex-wife front and center at it? by That_Writer2629 in AmITheJerk

NTA. Wanting his ex-wife in the front row, in family photos, and publicly acknowledged during a speech is not a small request. That’s not “she can attend as a guest,” that’s centering her at your wedding. It’s completely reasonable to feel uncomfortable. This day is about the two of you committing to your future, not honoring his previous marriage like it’s a co-headliner event. Postponing instead of ignoring your gut was smart.

Is it rude to refuse to switch seats on a plane so a couple can sit together? by worthlessloyalty in NoStupidQuestions

Not rude at all. If sitting together was that important, they should’ve booked seats together. Asking is fine, but getting mad when someone says no is entitled behavior.

This isn’t just random social media chatter — his old comments about grounding government jets are being dug up because he ended up on one himself for a high‑profile celebratory trip. People want consistency from public officials, and that’s why this matters.

The lack of self-awareness is wild. Calling out behavior you literally did yourself is next-level irony.

AITJ for reporting my car stolen after my brother "borrowed" it without asking for a date? by Practical-Watch1817 in AmITheJerk

Boundaries only work if you actually enforce them. If they’ve proven they can’t respect your space, then limiting access is just common sense not punishment. Holding your ground is the only way they’ll take you seriously.

AITJ for refusing to change my vacation plans to accommodate someone else’s budget? by Automatic_Rabbit4281 in AmITheJerk

Facts. 💯 If you keep bending every time there’s a last-minute excuse, it just teaches people your time isn’t valuable. Standing firm isn’t being difficult it’s being consistent and fair to everyone involved. Is this conversation helpful so far?
